this was the firstplacewe ate in savannah. it was around midnight and it was actually open. that was already a plus. nice local beer selection. very friendly service. this chicken tacos were awesome. the pretzel was good but the beer cheese was more like a cheese spread and that left for a very dry pretzel. overall a very good experience, i would return.

best food we had in savannah area!. this is the best food we ate in the savannah area including tybee island.we were beyond happy with churchill's pub! the service was great, quickly expedited, and food was wonderful. waitress brought water immediately upon greeting and was attentive at the necessary times and theplacewas busy for a sunday night.

just don't go at night. the reason i say don't go at night is because a lot of people book theplaceand it becomes a party tavern that is too loud and the staff has little time to serve you. otherwise, the food is not bad...but there are better places to get british style food in savannah such as macpherson's. hit thisplaceup for lunch if you want the full attention of the staff or hate loud music/parties.

86% likes?? what the hell is wrong with 14% of the patrons? churchill's is the best pub you can find in ga. if you weren't satisfied with theplaceyou might need to try a different type restaurant and perhaps you are not familiar with pub etiquette.

never going again. i recently went to churchill's pub in savannah with a large group. we had reservations made for over a week in advance for our party of 28. we took a charter bus from our hotel to the restaurant and due to traffic our bus was 45 minutes late. i continually stayed in touch with the restaurant to keep them up to date with where we were. after talking on the phone with them at least 4 times, and them reassuring us that it was no problem at all, we arrived at the restaurant. they sat us down and took our drink orders, and i saw the manager so i wanted to go talk with him and personally apologize for the inconvenience that we had caused and to thank him for allowing us to eat in his establishment. the manager was rude, condescending, and used inappropriate language when speaking with me, and then decided that because we were 45 min late and were such a large group that he could no longer accommodate us. we had scheduled this as our dinner for our formal and were shocked to learn that they had told us it was no problem at all, and now they couldn't serve us. it is terrible business to hold a reservation for that long turning away customers so that they could accommodate our large party, and then to turn us away as well. they lost a lot of money on this night and caused our group to have to split up and eat separately around savannah. i would not recommend thisplaceto anyone due to the terrible customer service and an unprofessional manager.

late night menu. off all the spots on this stretch of pubs and breweries, churchill's pub is theplacefor late night grub. food was tasty, beers were cold, and the service was friendly. event though theplaceis always busy, there is enough space to enjoy conversation without having to yell over the guy next to you. convenient location if you are staying at the hyatt regency across the street.

yummy. warm pretzels as an appetizer??? i'm in love with this pub. not only did i fully enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere, but the food was awesome. i had the fish n chips, sampled two different paninis and craved dessert (but had no room). our service was great and thr price was really resonable for dinner. a greatplaceto have dinner on bay street.

british fun on bay street. lets first get something clear, churchill's is definitely not an authentic british pub...but it is good. more of an american sports bar in british clothing, churchill's knows what american diners want and delivers. featuring a very american friendly interpretation of british classics such as shepherds pie and bangers and mash thisplacecan be a real blast and has a terrific family friendly but cool environment. when visiting be sure to checkout the awesome rooftop bar, weather permitting of course or the game room down in the basement. of note the bangers and mash were excellent as was the toad in the hole. featuring a full service bar with plenty of beers either bottled or on-tap thisplaceis an excellent choice to hang out with friends or family and relax and unwind from a busy day touring the historic district.
