chow down. the chow truck is the best restaurant with wheels in this state. may be one of the best lunch restaurants in town (with or without wheels). you can't go wrong with their beef, pork or chicken. i think they sprinkle their asianrootchips with crack.... and i'm a junkie.

second time eating from the chow truck. i will drive for their unique flavor combinations! love them! tried the rabbit/rattlesnake sausage & it was amazing! the only thing that's average is therootchips, otherwise everything is amazing!!

high prices but good food. i live at the south end of the valley, which meant it took them years to come south enough for me to eat here. but i finally had the pleasure last weekend at the conservation garden park annual plant sale. owner was a bit snotty in telling me they were closed, while people were still being helped in front of us in line, then changing her mind saying only the grill was closed. grill was open for all of those in front of us. i was disappointed in the service. they also ran out ofrootchips.
their chicken tacos are just amazing. i only wish the prices weren't so high. its restaurant prices street side. i prefer a restaurant.

okay to try, but not a keeper. the prices are decent (except for the special...not cheap). chicken lemongrass/coconut taco was a bit dry and needed more sauce. the beef taco was my favorite. therootchips tasted burnt, but the spices were interesting. fun to try once, but i won't be returning.

a+ street food. it's hard to consider this street food considering the quality and taste. everything i tried i enjoyed, inlcuding the pulled pork quesadilla (daily special), beef brisket taco (another special), asianrootchips, ginger-pork slider and calamari. in fact, the calamari was better than the calamari i had at dojo the other day. this is a can't miss if you ever happen to see it. very tasty.

tofu tacos...yum. delicious tofu tacos. wonderfully seasoned. the kind of unique flavor that makes you willing to chase that truck all over the valley. yum. the funkyrootchips were awesome as well, especially the lotus root.

twitter follow to good eats. i love street vendor food, but in salt lake the choices are slim indeed. thankfully i can catch some asian inspired tacos or sliders when i'm hankering for something different.

i love the shrimp sliders androotchips.

check the chows twitter feed and give it a shot, chances are you'll find something tasty and original and if you live or work downtown, it's probably just around the corner.

chase down the chow. seriously delicious! i finally made it to the chow truck at gallery stroll on friday night. i had the spicedrootchips and a panko tofu taco.

the chips were crisp and fresh and had just the right amount of seasoning. the tofu was cripsy and perfectly cooked. i loved the cabbage and wontons. but the best part, by far, was the spicey mint sauce on the tacos. it will change your life. delicious!!!!!

i heard quite a bit about it and checked out the menu, it was a done deal. the misses and i hit up the truck for dinner. the highs are high and the lows are only medium. highs: lemongrass chicken taco, beef taco & shrimp slider. lows: hoisin chicken bbq slider, pork taco, calamari &rootchips.
