chow down. the chow truck is the best restaurant with wheels in this state. may be one of the best lunch restaurants in town (with or without wheels). you can't go wrong with their beef, pork or chicken. i think they sprinkle their asian rootchipswith crack.... and i'm a junkie.

okay to try, but not a keeper. the prices are decent (except for the special...not cheap). chicken lemongrass/coconut taco was a bit dry and needed more sauce. the beef taco was my favorite. the rootchipstasted burnt, but the spices were interesting. fun to try once, but i won't be returning.

tofu tacos...yum. delicious tofu tacos. wonderfully seasoned. the kind of unique flavor that makes you willing to chase that truck all over the valley. yum. the funky rootchipswere awesome as well, especially the lotus root.

chase down the chow. seriously delicious! i finally made it to the chow truck at gallery stroll on friday night. i had the spiced rootchipsand a panko tofu taco.

thechipswere crisp and fresh and had just the right amount of seasoning. the tofu was cripsy and perfectly cooked. i loved the cabbage and wontons. but the best part, by far, was the spicey mint sauce on the tacos. it will change your life. delicious!!!!!

2 great tastes together. i love some taco truck and i love asian food. now i get both in a quick, cheap nicely outfitted package.

the fact that a (for lack of a better term) taco truck has a website broadcasting it's whereabouts and menu has kinda blown me away. it's the perfect marriage of new technology and an old favorite.

now about the food - great! i had a special pork with red curry sauce taco that was fantastic. just enough spice to notice, but not too much to upset the locals.

thosechipswere pretty good, though i'd prefer them to be much spicier, but i realize we're in salt lake (see above).

overall i'm now a fan and i hope they do well, but don't tell too many people, because i don't want to stand in line too long. : )

quick & delicious. salt lake city's first legitimate gourmet food cart. while we have several great taco carts in town and a couple hot dog stands, we had yet to venture into the world of gourmet food carts. up to date this is our first and only gourmet food cart in town and its pretty awesome. you can located them by finding them on twitter or checking out their website. i highly recommend their tacos or salads. the veggiechipslook strange but taste good. you might classify the food as asian/cali-mexican fusion.
