chopsticks is a very famous little restaurant that's located on the bustling mall road of manali. its famous for its authentic chinese, tibetan and japanese cuisine. the quantity served is more for 3 people and the taste is beyond amazing. we decided to try somechinesefood and heres a detailed description of the different foods .

1. chicken steamed momos - 10 pieces of chicken steamed momos served with red chili chutney was just mouth melting. the momos were steamed to perfection and the quantity was fulfilling for 2 people. the momos were less spicy and subtle.

2. schezwan fried chicken - deep fried chciken in schezwan sauce and served with spring onions. the portion was huge and the chicken was spicy. a good option to enjoy in the cold weather of manali.

3. chopstick special chicken chowmein - noodles tossed with stir fried veggies mixed with chicken and garnished with fried eggs. the noodles were perfectly cooked and the taste was different with the eggs added on top of it.

it was a delicious affair at this famous restaurant and a must visit when in mall road.

this is a small restaurant in old manali that serves authentic asian food. we had a very good experience & the staff also tries to get you a table as soon as possible even though this place can get a bit crowded since it’s situated in mall road, center of manali.

we opted for somechinesefood & were super hungry, the order came in a decent time.

3. chilli garlic gravy
4. sweet lime soda
we were 3 & the food was quite sufficient for us. the food was quite good 😍

this extremely famous restaurant forchinese/ tibetan / japanese food in manali, and therefore made it a point to visit. but disappointed both on account of customer service and food.

the customer service was abysmal, and the person catering us was impolite and not considerate. providing an instance, we ordered for fresh lime water (sweet & salty, cold but no ice), but when we got the drink it was only sweet and at room temperature. when asked to fix the drink, the person catering us said that we can do it ourselves by adding some salt. that was really inconsiderate.

now coming to the food, barring the starters (spring roll, momos, honey chilli potato) and the mushroom soup, the other items were way mediocre for the place and given how popular it is

- hot n sour chicken soup
- thupka
- chicken momos
- mutton momos
totally disappointed with the food offered.
hot n sour soup and thupka were filled with tomato, i have never seen tomato in hot n sour soup and taste was below average.
mutton momos had no mutton filling in it and outer covering was raw.
chicken momos were average.
it was a nightmare. don't waste your hard earned money try other places for betterchinesefood.

worst restaurant ever to havechinesevery rude staff as well as managers they will not clean your table even wont searve you for at least 40 minutes and then what you get to eat will be pathetic and disgusting chicken is all smelly and not at all edible nothing tasted good not even average. we did not eat yet we paid the full price highly tasteless food i dont know why people even go to this plce its just like some place got good name and on that good name they sell cheap stuff

goodchineserestaurant with lots of options to try from. the place is little crowded and you might have to wait for 20-30 minutes at times. food tastes quite good. and the quantity.. it’s a lot. each dish you order is enough for 2 people. price is nominal compared to the quantity. we tried sizzler, chicken starters, momos, noodles and fried rice. all tasted good but the noodles were slightly bland.

amazing place to hvchinese there is beer name kati parang try it. it was great place lil too crowded but very less options to sit n done

it’s a great place and very good ambience. the place is catering tibetan, japanese andchinesecuisine. the food is very tasty and the portions are generous but if your money is also good. it is a must visit please if you are in manali

if you are in manali mall road, do try this restaurant. the seating is really good with good interior. the ups is the portion size which is really good. we went for the crispy vegetables chilli dry, it was batter fried veggies and not achinesedish. good that the staff informed as the same when we placed our orders. it was good but we could finish it.

located in the middle of the mall road at manali, this place was suggested to us for paneer momos and some goodchinesefood, by the driver who drove us to rohtang pass.. the moment we entered the restaurant, we were welcomed by the aroma of soya sauce and vinegar in the air.. i even loved the chandelier here 😍

paneer momos were not that great but the chilli mushrooms and veg schezwan noodles were lip smacking.. we had to catch the bus same day, so we got some food parceled from here and the staff at the restaurant packed it so nicely that it didn't become saugy at all.. #chinese

the portion are huge , some dish can be enough for 2 if you travel on budget. it was tasty , goodchinesefood as expected. all kinds of price.

a nice and busy little place. cannot get over their exceptionalchineselamps yet.
ordered a beer, apple cider, mutton shapta dry, chicken momos and custard with fruits.
the beer was the regular tuborg and apple cider was good too.
they only serve the 650ml ones though! in fact we were looking for a glass each.
the mutton shapta was excellent. tasty well marinated meat with capsicum and onions with chilli. a nice chops like serving.

chicken momos had a doughy thick texture with the filling tasting like a thawed mixture after freezing for sometime. wasn't as i expected and the bland taste was a let down.
custard was warm and nice.
service is good. at 1200 rupees it'd reasonable if the momos were good.
surprisingly i had to request for a gst bill! else handwritten minus gst!!!

they serve bestchinesein whole manali. i would like to suggest pancakes that are good over here and along with that, in such cool weather of manali, iced tea that they make is really top up to fun.

this iconic restaurant has been a family tradition for over 31 years! the experience is still as amazing as it was 3 decades ago!

the ambience is bright and warm, the service is helpful and prompt and the food is fresh and delicious! we stick tochineseand tibetan cuisine. their thenthuk and gyathuk are like a complete meal in a bowl. the momos and gyathuks are incredibly succulent. there's no dish on the menu that would disappoint you and the servers are usually able to suggest dishes most suitable to your requirements!

the chopsticks special fried rice deserves a special mention!
