big sandwhiches. i really liked my sandwhich here. the bread was like french toast. my dads sandwich was huge. my brother had a salad and ate it all. he never eats all hisfoodunless its a salad

i usually like chompie's, but today - not so much!. the service was rushed and so-so; but i can look past that when thefoodis good; but . . .

the garlic & parmesan fries were okay, but most of the cheese was on top with very little mixing up of the cheese throughout the pile of fries. ordered the pastrami on onion bun - and it was okay; but nothing special. the cole slaw absolutely lacked any flavor whatsoever. my associate's meat loaf sandwich was okay, but . . . and, then the carrot cake was dry.

so, all in all, i will keep my vote as "i like it" because of my loyalty in coming so many years; but if today was my first experience, i would have voted "don't like it." so, with that said, this is a 2.5/5 rating as a "might come back" and will update the review if/when i do come back.

chompies has a very large menu withfoodinfluences from new york. that have a huge deli area where you can orderfoodto go or a restaurant area to sit and dine at. i got corned beef hash and potato pancakes.

great food. thefoodis absolutely delicious. i love their sliders & their brisket is amazing.

however the wait staff doesn't seem to care if you wait over 45min for a bagel w eggs & onions.
i've never gotten prompt service here.

my cabbage rolls would have been good but they tasted like someone spilled maple syrup ail over them.

the squash medley was drowning in butter substitute and way over salted. the potato pancake was like a mcdonalds hash brown only round.

the eclair was as tougher than a cactus.

they have thefoodbut not the soul of a delicatessan.
