i love thisplaceit's one of my favorites.
ambience is always awesome and the staff always super friendly.
portions are big and food never disappoints.

so happy that they're on uber eats as it got me through a few lockdowns.

wonton soup is highly recommended the broth always hits the spot.

kids love the curry puffs and my absolute fave is the ribs and sticky rice cannot go wrong.

located on great south road this thaiplaceis pretty easy to find with plenty of off street parking. thisplacewas empty when we visited on a saturday night but proved to be popular with many people dining in and taking away.

once greeted and seated we found the menu very easy to choose from with photos of each dish, all were reasonably too. we ordered f19 and f20 with tofu (both included a serving of rice). the garlic and pepper tofu was very well seasoned, a tad too peppery by the end of it but the dish was tasty. the spicy cashew tofu had a very nice nutty flavour with a spicy kick to the dish and was our favourite of the two.

if your in the area and after a quick and authentic meal, give thisplacea go.

i don't write as much reviews as i should, but thisplaceis a little gem. otahuhu has excellent vietnamese options but for some reason i was surprised to find this small, fairly sparsely appointed restaurant to have some of the better thai food i've enjoyed. 

the quality is excellent, they cater well to everything from my wife's 'extra mild' to full strength for me, and the lady at reception is super friendly and chatty and very happy to customise meals somewhat if required.

a real hidden gem and highly recommended.

i’ve eaten food from thisplaceon many occasions, mostly takeaway and once dined in. yummy food, generous portions, quick service. would recommend to anyone!

it was our first time eating here, although it was 10 minutes to closing the owner allowed us to eat in which was really cool since we didn’t feel like maccas, bk etc.

real friendly owners and really helpful, fast ordering, food was delish! we ordered the nasi goreng, satay skewers, chicken cashew nuts and the mussels. all were very yum! we asked for more plates and they had no problem giving them out. also came with chilled water, not many places give out chilled water sometimes. awesomeplacewith great food would highly recommend to anyone looking for a thai foodplacein otahuhu.

this is otahuhu's real thai restaurant . been coming here for years. super clean and consistent taste. great portions even better service and extremely reasonable on the pocket.placeis family run and food is light-years ahead when compared to their overhyped neighbours. the chef is an absolute star.

tried thisplacefor the first time tonight. staff were super friendly. we ordered takeaway - they forgot to put in our chicken satay, went back and told them, they whipped it up in 5 minutes and were very apologetic about it.

the chicken satay was not a taker with me - it was way too sweet - couldn't even finish it - and i was starving and usually demolish everything! 1/10

the ginger lemon chicken was semi-good, not great enough for me to want it again from here though 5/10

my hubby enjoyed his larb but said it was slightly dry. 7/10

overall i don't think we personally would go back there again but in saying that the staff are great and lovely!

i think we'll stick to our favourite thai take-aways out west in massey, it's worth the long drive from otahuhu just to get it in my opinion!).

they have put different prices on zomato but charge you differently when you there. the fish cakes were awful and stinky

we came here based on zomato reviews and were greeted by very friendly staff. a caucasian guy, whom i believe is the owner, greeted us and served us water almost immediately so that's a great start!

we ordered duck pad thai, mixed entree, and panang chicken curry.

duck pad thai was not very good. the noodles are a little tough and chewy, and pretty sweet. however the duck was quite tender. would be better if the noodles are cooked a little longer so they are softer. less sweet sauce would be nice too.

in the mixed entree, the chicken satay sauce was pretty nice (but on the sweet side too) but the chicken satay meat was tough and chewy - a pity. the curry puff was average. the fish cakes are good, the spring rolls are crispy and full of fillings so those are good too.

the panang curry was overpowered with coconut milk although the flavour really grew on us as we ate. we requested for thai spicy level but it came out not spicy at all. the waitress gave us chilli sauce as she served the curry, saying that the curry is not spicy and that we can add the chilli as we eat. the chilli sauce was great!

overall i feel that their dishes tend to be on the sweet side, probably something that the locals would like? i personally find it too sweet and not enough balance between sweet and savoury. the portions are generous and the service was really nice. i give it a 3.5 because i really like the people there. i feel that they take pride in their restaurant, as can be seen from the decorations, menu, table number cards, and even their toilet is kept very clean. i like aplacefilled with love and pride and i do honestly think this restaurant has it. when i asked for warm water as it's cold outside, i was given a pot of hot water with lovely asian designed cups. these tiny details make an averageplacepotentially good! i also like how they make the effort to have a photo for each dish on their menu. really really impressed with the amt of effort they put into this place.

it'd be lovely to see some changes to the taste of the food and i wouldn't hesitate to go back and support them!

had always driven past and out of curiosity decided to give thisplacea go. restaurant is very clean and inviting. i love the decor, feels very homely and gives theplacepersonality. the staff have got to be the most hospitable attentive staff i have ever met...hence the high rating. i ordered the beef salad. it was very tasty and generous in portion size however, i had too much onion in it and there was only carrot and onion. usually thought salad comes with a lot of lettuce or greens. the beef was fresh and tender. i usually try to finish all my food when we go out to restaurants..i don't like wasting food but because of the onion i didn't finish my meal. my husband ordered the lemon chicken, he was happy with the portion size and the freshness of his meal but a bit let down as he could not really taste the lemon. thisplaceis really nice, it would be a 5 but we were a bit let down with the taste of our meals. maybe next time we will try the green curry, so will be back to give thisplaceanother chance.

you walk in and theplaceis clean and spacious for a small area. your greeted with a friendly smile and great host.
now onto the real mccoy the food!!! have been here a few times since discovering thisplaceand each time we are impressed. food is tasty, chef caters to your spicy needs, portions are generous and food is brought out quick smart. how could i forget price is reasonable.
highly recommended.

wow, great thai food at an even greater price! staff were friendly, was greeted as soon as we entered, food was brought out quick and all meals were delicious. we had the pork ribs, spring rolls, massaman curry, cashew chicken and a seafood vermecelli dish yum. would definitely recommend thisplaceto those living in otahuhu and others who come through otahuhu :)

one of the best thai places!

all their dishes here are very cheap and tasty and they give huge portions! since finding out about thisplacevery recently, i have already been here a few times. and i will be back a lot more :)
