food was really good. we had steak skewers. salmon. carpaccio and tuna ceviche.
but the special thing about this restaurant is the service.
it was sooo goodd. we ask for a wine and we did not like it. they changed it. then accidentally drop my plate. and they send another one without charge. it was a really nice attitude. i loved it!!! i think this is the first place that i give 5 points!!!

this is one of my new favorite restaurants in savannah! great 20s lounge atmosphere with curtain separated modern style lounge booths. food was fantastic! first, you have to start with the chive muscles...seriously you will regret it if you miss this! it is the source of that savory curry like smell in the restaurant (because everyone orders them). they are the best steamed muscles i have had. try to get extra toast to dip in the heavenly broth! we ordered the lobster tail risotto and the chilean sea bass for our entrees. both were excellent...but that melt in your mouth chilean sea bass will bring me back again again...omg. most entrees come in a small and large portion. not only does the small dish help with the pocket book but it really is the right amount of food without gorgeing yourself. located in the heart of downtown and highly recommended!

had dinner there thursday night. there was a wait, but we we're seated sooner. the hostess was friendly & greeted us right away. we had courtney as our server & she was fantastic- nice, genuine & attentive w/o over doing it! all of the staff was friendly & seemed to work well together to help with the dinner rush.
our food was great: blue point oysters, the cutting board & 2 ping entree's: quail & buffalo.

food was good, but felt it wasn't anything mind blowing.  portion amount was fine for one person and service was attentive.  the atmosphere is dark, lighting is difficult for older adults...nothing inviting about the place.  i think they should use something other than black in their decor....i would eat there again, but maybe for lunch.  price is a little upscale but not bad.  i have a food allergy and they did accommodate and i enjoyed my food very much.  highly recommend the sea bass or salmon.

this place has such a classy and elegant atmosphere. plush velvets and sparkle all around. i love the curved banquet seating for smallish dinner groups. their food is delicious, and they usually offer something out of the ordinary. sometimes my friends and i will just stop by for a pre-dinner or pre-concert cocktail. i have a thing for strawberries, and the red clover hits the spot!

this place is delicious! the mussels were to die for and there was nothing to disappoint! even the water was great. i love how they have the curtains in the booths for privacy. it makes the dining experience very romantic.

great food. great support staff but our waitress was so absent during the meal. we only saw here when we ordered then had to ask 2 or 3 times for our check.

new and good. went to chives. this is the former home of the saigon restaurant. the restaurant has been taken over by sean and ele tran who also own tangerine, the king and i and ele fine fusion. chives seems to be another jewel in their crown. i had the lobster with risotto. on their web site they have a picture of the lobster risotto. the picture shows a whole lobster but in reality you only get a tail. and for the maine diehards it is a spiny lobster. people in maine don’t consider spinies real lobsters. it comes in either small or large. i went for the large which turned out not to be a larger lobster but it is two tails instead of one. the risotto was made with edamame in it, the risotto was very worthy and the lobster was cooked on the grill which is the way i like it. good good good. my lovely wife and i had the lobster and shrimp spring roll. it came to the table piping hot and delicious. my wife also had the ocean’s 5. gang phet talay, noodles, clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, crab. she loved it and the broth was outstanding. there was a lot of food in the dish but the five mussels and three clams left you wanting more. we also has a white wine and it was served chilled on ice. the only drawback was the tables at the booths. they inherited these tables from the old restaurant and the tables have these huge bases. the base of the table keeps you from ever getting a suitable position or posture at the table.

my husband and i popped in on a monday night without reservations. we didn't know what to expect, but thought the atmosphere was cool. we ordered cocktails that were both good, and a spring roll appetizer. the app was a good portion to share probably with 3 people. good but not exceptional, typical. i then ordered the seabass and the hubby got the tuna. both were excellent and cooked to perfection. nice size portions as well. would love to come back!!

steamed mussel dish was exquisite-best part of meal-delicious broth; should have eaten several of these instead of the main entrees which were good-but not exquisite. red clover cocktail was also good.
