a hidden gem. ok this is a hard choice here! is it my first or second choice for best chinese in pleasanton? for over 15 years gold chopsticks has been my go to place for chinese takeout but lately they have been a little too inconsistent. i won't give up on them but this place doesmakeit a very hard choice when it come to my favorite choices for dinner. they are closed on mondays so i guess that may give a slight edge to gold chopsticks on monday!
as with most places for chinese they have the usual fare but this place has some surprises andmakethe standard items so very good. i have so many favorites but i have to usually order these so i have a pricey feast but leftovers for days. just recently i ordered a to go order with my parents and we ended up ordering so much food they even threw in a free entree and a couple orders of fried wontons and egg rolls.

prices are very reasonable with most entrees way under ten dollars and they really like to load you up. these guys sure know how tomakeyou happy to keep the customer coming back for more. oh i will be back for more but not on mondays unfortunately. gold chopsticks better step things up and get back on the consistency scale.
