slow service. we had a reservation for 12:30 and didn't get seated until 1:00. 23 minutes to get drinks and then theserverhad a lousy attitude. too expensive for this kind of service and attitude.

amazing dinner. we will definitely be returning to charbonos after tonight. we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and it was one of our favorite nights out we have ever had. we had reservations at another restaurant but they were not able to accommodate us; luckily for us. we were seated right away at charbonos even without a reservation. ourservertyler was what made our night as memorable as it was. he was so friendly and knew the menu like he wrote it himself. we have never had service as excellent as we had with tyler. we also compliment the chefs with our steaks as they were cooked perfectly. thanks again for a great night.

great food - mediocre service. overall i loved my first experience at this restaurant. the food is a little pricey but for good reason. it is delicious! the food was cooked perfectly. the service was a little disorganized for a friday night. the hostess seemed very stressed and confused which made you wonder what your wait time really was going to be. i had asked her to save a table for 2 and she forgot to write our name down so we had all these other people go in front of us. i was very upset so we ended up just finding a seat in the bar. sitting in the bar had it's advantages of always having yourserverright in front of you but he still managed to forget to bring us our bread. i had to ask twice, but once all of our food came out it was delicious.

great pizzas, great atmo, great service..!. wife and i visited this place several years ago when it first opened and did not like it. a good friend of mine at work recommended this place the other day as one of his favorites for pizza. wife and i thought we would give it another try after all these years and see. didn't disappoint! we opted to try a couple of the pizzas "meat lover's pizza" & "barbecue chicken pizza". both were very good. our favorite by a slim margin was the "meat lover's pizza". ourserverwas very prompt and courteous! we'll be back again. pics included!

cold food, bad service, and a questionable policy.... ok, we dine out. a lot. i am not a hard man to please, and my partner is about the easiest going gal i have ever met.

but last night was a terrible experience at charbono's. we had been there once before, and recall it being a favorable experience. it's about 45-50 minutes from home, but we had business in the area, plus we had a $10 off a $40 purchase, so we decided to go.

it took about 20 minutes for theserverto take our order. 10 minutes for the salads to arrive (and, in all fairness, they were very good), then 40 minutes for our food to arrive.

i had the ribs...they were lukewarm at best. holly had a fish dish...i honestly can't remember which one, but it had 2 shrimp on top of it...and it was cold. ice cold.

we had a hard time getting our waitress to come back to our table, so we decided to cut our losses and pay our bill when she finally came back. we handed her our credit card and coupon, and she went and re-figured the bill....and came back and informed us there was an automatic 24% gratuity added to all coupons.

so we had to wait over an hour, get our food cold, and be charged a 24% gratuity? thanks, but no thanks. we won't be back.
