love this place! come here almost once a month on the weekend. greatstaffand great drinks! only place i come to in town. 😊

this is my go to place every weekend. they do best shisha/ shisha flavours in auckland and sides. the manager andstaffare always welcoming. no matter how busy it is we always get seated and get the best of service. highly recommend!!

my visit to the chancery bistro was excellent, the drinks and the sheesha (hookah) was great. i found that the atmosphere and the vibe nice and relaxing. i found that thestaffwas good especially during my time there thestaffmember priscillah she was extremely helpful and attentive to not only my needs but to the customers around me, providing great customer service before we even thought we needed, my wife was especially happy when priscillah knew whether she needed an extra top off with her wine glass to keep her happy. if this is the example of what excellent service chancery provides i will be sure to spread he word and will definitely be back there again soon.

bug came out of my beer, it was swimming inside the jug i got served like this, dirty cup called thestaffstill no apology nor manner of the staff. hardly not recommended. very poor.

i have been to chancery bistro twice and both the time had an awesome experience. the manager andstaffare great and knows how to provide excellent customer service. the shisha is really smooth and better than any other shisha place in auckland.

thank you to the chancery for their awesome food,staffand atmosphere. we were a group of 10 for hubby's 40th and food came super quick and yummy they all raved about it and are excited to return. highly recommend. this place just gets better and better each time we visit.

the food and service were amazing specially the chicken lovers pizza and a burger . i it is very nice place to hang out with friends and family

decided to try this place for the $15 lunch special. greeted by waitstaffas soon as we were at the front. seated promptly and menus presented along with water for the table.

ordered the lamb shank and bolognese.

lamb was soft and fallin off the bone. presentation was good. taste was quite bland. even with all the sauce. best tasting thing was the pumpkin.

do not try the bolognese. pasta was over cooked and really soft and mushy. sauce was below average.

some friends and i had a really great late night out here. was pretty packed out but we were greeted by a guy and promised seating asap and service was quick and friendly. we didn’t really have much food besides a vegetarian 🍕 and fries, the shisha, drinks, ambiance and service was very very good. really cool, helpfulstaffwho went that extra mile to look after us made it an awesome night out. thank you!! #iforgottotipbutiwillbeback

chancery bistro is a place i don't feel comfortable to stay at & won't like to revisit. maybe we were too early for a brunch, but it opens every day at 7 or 8 & we were there at 10:45 - everything didn't seem to be ready & the waitstaffwas just doing cleaning up & preparing the tables. or was it the "monday blues"?  i had the bistro breakfast & my wife had the "bubble & squeak" - what we had was insignificant; both dishes looked rather unappetising. (my wife commented that her dish was just a mess.) a bit of green colour on the dishes would have at least lightened up a bit.

came here with a friend for lunch. the service was okay as it was a quiet day. i ordered the old school lamb burger. it took them a while to serve the food, but when it came the lamb was rather warm than hot. the presentation was good which looked attractive. however, the onion ring had too much mixture and coating which didn't end up having a nice texture. the sauce was okay, a little sour, and the lettuce was just too little. overall the flavour wasn't what i would expect from a decent looking restaurant.staffwas friendly though.

good floorstaffbut i should have eaten before i went, had a three course, meager portions.....really tiny and most of it was the accompaniments, and not the best either, main course was the pork belly with the tiniest chunk of pb and a beetroot cut in half which was bigger than the pork! the entire meal was dreadful. would i go here again, probably never.
