cattleman's steakhouse

beef it's what's for dinner!. big beef, some sides - no salad- just what hungry guys (and gals) want. i've been here several times and leave satisfied everytime.
half a cow ribs lived up to it's name sake & i loved them. and the t-bones are fantastic.
hard to believe they even offer deserts- but i've had the apple pie and it is fine.
it's a bit of a drive from el paso, but worth it -so come hungry.

a must!. a definite must to take out-of-town guests. the never-ending drive is definitely worth it. steaks are huge and tasty and cooked to perfection. the beef ribs are huge (think fred flinstone here) and wonderful. the atmosphere of the whole ranch is laid back and family friendly. go during the day and take a walk (to work off some of that wonderful steak!) by the lake, or over to the animal, petting-zoo like area. the llamas are fun to feed. on sunday's take a wagon ride over to the movie sets. definitely something to see. go for dinner in the evening and you can see the wild coyotes come up to snatch meat. on the weekends, it gets crowded, but that's ok...it's worth it. and on your way out, you can purchase frozen beef tips and hamburger to take home. super high quality meat! a definite value over the supermarket.

gimme that cow!. deliciousness........ impecable wait staff who pays attention to every word you say, to die for steaks, and this place was not named one of the country's top ten steakhouses by travel channel for nothing!

mmmmmmm..... it's a little bit of a drive outside of town but it's so worth the drive.!! their steaks are amazing and they always cook them just the way i order them. usually packed on the weekends and somewhat pricey, but well worth it.

best steak i've ever had.... it's been years since i ate at cattleman's the one and only time (so far) and to this day, any time i have a steak, it gets compared to the t-bone i had there. so far, nothing i had before or since has measured up, and i've had some mighty fine steaks! one of these days i'm hoping i'll either find one that will match or surpass cattleman's...or make it back there to have another.

a very relaxed, ranch style atmosphere makes it a very comfortable place to enjoy the best steaks i've ever had! i like the ribeye, or the filet the best. all are served with your choice of side as well as healthy portions of ranch beans and cole slaw. unfortunately, no salads. the shrimp cocktail is an excellent starter. be prepared to wait on the weekends, and make sure to visit the restaurant grounds to view all sorts of animals from emus to bunny rabbits to buffalo!
