the staff are always smiling! such agreatstart to a meal.

the food is well priced for the amout of food you order and staff are happy to substitute ingredients.
i don't eat eggs & usually ask for a protein substitute such as beans, cascada always happily tell me they can help me out with a smile.

i rated a 4 rather than a 5 due to my last visit. my partner always orders the gluten free french toast on the side & i share them every time. (it's become a little tradition)
when we last visited, the french toast weren't a large portion like the serving in my photo, but just two slices of thin bread, not sure if it was a one off, if so please bring back the original with the cream topping & berries.

great local place with some wonderful vegan options. honestly, there is an extensive list  vegan options and the ones i've tried are delicious, and other's all look yum. definitely recommend the vegan burger with sweet potato chips. it's also agreatplace for a coffee, such nice surroundings and it'sgreatgoing in there on a saturday morning when everyone's come down from mt lofty.

the wood-oven pizzas were fantastic. the thin crust is particularly noteworthy, its truly something special and must be tried. the shared meat dishes were also delicious. there is also agreatselection of beers and wine to choose from. we finished off the night with a coffee. the milk had a beautiful velvet texture and the flavour of the coffee was great.

the cafe is in agreatlocation at the base of the drive to waterfall gully. the service from the friendly staff was impeccable. i had agreatexperience here as have many friends i have spoken to, so i will definitely be back!

unfortunately pretty poor overall experience.... maybe they're just having teething problems. the fit out isgreatand it's really spacious, but really that's about the only good things i can say. we arrived for sunday breakfast at 9:30 and it wasn't busy so thought we'd getgreatservice. but it became pretty clear that they are understaffed and not well trained, with no systems in place at all. food was constantly being bought to our table that wasn't ours, and our food went to two other tables each time before it got to us. drink orders were wrong, food was delivered at different times, while mine was left at the pass for 15 minutes(!!) to get cold. my friend was given a fork to eat chowder and as there were no staff to be seen, he ended up eating it with his coffee spoon. one of the chefs had to start delivering the food too and the head chef came out a few times and was obviously annoyed with the whole situation.we were forgiving and were pretty understandable as they haven't been open that long, but the food wasn't that great. i wouldn't recommend it unfortunately, at least give them a few more weeks to settle in.

loved the wholemeal pizza and vegan options!greatenergy and enthusiastic staff. also loved the local boutique beer menu. keep up thegreatwork and we'll be back!

we have now been here a few times and each time the food has been fantastic. it's agreatplace to bring the whole family for all eating occasions. the green smoothy is fantastic. service is outstanding.
