excellent food and service. we went out to celebrate tonight 8 people total. we had a private room and andres (our server) was friendly efficient and accommodating. everyone of us were very quiet once the food arrived thats because the only sound you heard were yummy sounds from all. : ) they gave us complimentary plates and my sister ( the birthday day girl ) received a happy birthday song and dessert on the house ( very kind )
the prices are very reasonable and the food is yummy ! you won't be disappointed. we will be going back. thank you casa blanca staff. you have a gemplacehere in idaho.

it is a greatplaceto eat and it is a family run restaurant. the service was very good. my wife and i have ate at cuban restaurants in miami and this is as real as cuban food gets.i can't wait until they get there food truck going. if you like cuban food then you have to try this place.

terrific food. this was my first foray into cuban food. we went in since a cuban buddy said it was like his grandma's cooking. i love my grandma's cooking but after thisplacei wished she was cuban. all four of our dishes were really good and filled us up. 5/5

decided to try casablanca for lunch even though its a bit if a drive from where i work. arrived around noon and parking lot was just about empty. not a good sign. went in anyway and we were seated immediately. not what you'd call upscale de or, but clean and comfortable. i ordered the puerco asado. was not expecting the huge serving i got. probably should have split in half and taken half home for dinner. concentrated on the pork which was excellent. the yucca was also very good but just didn't have the room for it. waitress was very good - attentive but not too attentive. discovered reason theplacewas so empty when we got there is that the lunch crowd here doesn't really get going until around 1:00. recommend you give thusplacea try. i will definitely be back.

riverwi. made plans to "try" tucanos brazilian grill before catching american hustle at edwards theater. on our way we passed casablanca cuban grill and commented that i never saw theplacebefore, and made a mental note of it. fast forward to tucanos .... my hunch that we were about to enter a hectic theme park - my girlfriend called it cheesecake factory in disguise - was validated. holy crap. now what? .... oh yeah, back to casablanca. immediate good vibe upon entering. quiet, cozy, unpretentious. refreshing, after admittedly focusing too much attention lately on downtown boise's's portland wannabe style, and and paying those prices. our sweet, friendly hostess/waitress took care of us and made us feel like we were at home - her home. in cuba. then the food ... it was great. and cheap!! go. just go. this is aplacethat should be patronized not just for an authentic food experience, but for an authentic from-the-heart experience. tucanos ..... what were we thinking?

great to be back. i was craving for that cuban food( and it seems that the more cuban food i eat the more i want) i just came back from vacation ( miami) and there a restaurant or caffeteria in avery corner, half of them cuban.
casa blanca cuban grill is becoming my favoriteplaceto go here to eat and hang out and compared to the restaurants in miami i close my eyes and it takes me back to them but here in boise. the food is great and taste variety is amazing, the prices are also amaizing as well as the mojito and the traditional cuban coffe, the new flan tres leches is the best i ever had.

excellent, authentic!!!!!!. this was an excellent experience better that many cuban restaurants in miami, the service was great the food was athentic, the real deal!!!, teh tostones rellenos are to die for and the bacalao a la bizcaina omg, also the sangria was as good as the ones i tried in spain and in havana, my son tried the cuban sandwish and it was very tasty with all the ingridients then the cuban flan to finish the feast sealed teh deal i'm going back w my friends and family.

my wife and i were in the mood for something different so decided to try casa blanca. the restaurant was clean and well decorated. very niceplaceto have a meal. for an appetizer we had the croquetas and a bowl of garbanzo bean soup. for dinner i ordered the carne con papas. the chunks of beef in the dish were tender and delicious. overall a very nice meal. we will definitely return.

if you have never had cuban food, you can rest assured that thisplaceis authentic. don't try to compare it with mecican food -- it is cuban. both the beef and the pork dishes are excellent! i love fried plantains, but the ones here are average. you will want to salt them as they are served unseasoned. the black beans and rice is excellent. not sure you would like cuban food? cuban is meat and potatoes with a flair. the seasoning is always very balanced (or is supposed to be) and seldom real spicy. remember, this is not mexican... no chips and salsa here. just good solid cuban food.

yay cuban food!. ok, casa blanca is probably my new favorite restaurant, i like it all! do this one family style, order food to split. bacalao with yucca (add the delicious sauce they give you) and moros and cristianos is my go to. we're talking delicious! even my step sister liked it and she normally hates bacalao (portuguese people eat it too, probably why i love it). i've only met one couple who hasn't liked thisplaceand i think they were expecting mexican food, which this is not, obviously. so good, give it a try, we need to keep this restaurant up and running in boise!!!

everything about thisplaceis great! service like you are family and the food is so flavorful. a boise gem! we hope they stick around.

you have to go to casa blanca!!!!. finally! i visited casa blanca cuban grill! i have lived in boise for 17 years, but previously lived 32 years in the state of florida, which almost makes me an expert on cuban food. therefore i can say that my experience at cb cuban grill is unique, is the most authentic cuban food i've tasted, i would say, over all, the best cuban food i have ever eaten. theplaceis very clean and very cozy ambience. thank you very much, cb cuban grill to bring the authentic taste of cuban food to idaho. i will be back for sure, but this time with family and friends. paul c-b.

got online to find cuban recipes because.... my best friend took me to this restaurant yesterday for lunch and i am thrilled! when we walked in, we recieved a very authentic hello welcome from a lady carrying a baby across the room...which immediately gave me the feeling of "welcome home, make yourself comfortable!" before we even sat down, the second thing i noticed was the cleanliness of the place! i mean, it was very homey, but i swear it shined of clean! the third thing i noticed was the incredible aroma of the food. it rarely gets better than that. i was new to the cuban menu so my friend ordered for us, and we shared two entrees...one chicken with a side of rice and black beans and fried plantains (which reminded me of when my dear mother used to cook them when i was little... oh yummy!) and the other meal was a ground beef dish with a side of white rice and black bean soup. then there was the yucca... yucca for me- yumma for others. everything else was nothing short of spectacular! even the white rice was special. the service was incredibly friendly and i really felt appreciated. this is a restaurant that i hope you will all try out so that it will live long and prosper...don't let thisplacecome and go undiscovered! it's the kind ofplaceboise needs, hope to see you there!

authentic cuban food. well it was a nice surprise to find this gem in boise. being cuban, i found thisplaceto be pretty authentic in my first visit. our food was great. we all shared our bacalo con moro y cristiano y tostones, fricasee de pollo con arroz blanco y frijoles negros y maduros and cuban sandwiches. for dessert it was flan de leche and arroz con leche - tasted like home. my only comment would be that the service was a little slow. three of us got served our entrees and two of our friends got served their sandwiches almost 10 min later. will i go back, absolutely!

cugan grill in boise. theplacewas packed this saturday night and i can see why. good service, great food, and authentic cuisine by this family run business. i think a very welcome addition to the boise scene.
