slow lunch... good food. the service has much to be desired, as the waitress complained that she did not like cuban food and that she doesn't eat at the restaurant because she is mexican (seriously). additionally, the waitress had a bad attitude as if we were interrupting her day by being there. not professional and if it was my restaurant, i would give a talk or show her the door.
we waited for our food, with no one else in the restaurant, for over 45 minutes at lunch. i am not sure what the holdup was, but it appeared no one was expediting from the kitchen, and the waitress was not following up. way too slow for a couple of sandwiches and french fries.
fortunately the food was very good, however, i doubt i will ever spend my money there again. it is a shame since the cuban ambiance was great, andboiseneeds a good cuban restaurant. management needs to clean house and be more involved to control their staff and kitchen.
