left hungry.. went here for lunch on a tuesday. ordered the veal sandwich and was very very disappointed. first of all, it was expensive for what it is. $12 for one of the smallestsandwichesi've ever eaten. the meat was bland, and the dish was bare bones. it's served with literally nothing. no salad, no fries, not even sauce on the sandwich, nothing. it's literally just a thin slice of veal on bread.
the veal was underseasoned and looked grey and unappetizing. it was not breaded like how you would expect an italian veal sandwich to be. it's just lightly grilled with no other toppings or condiments, not even marinara sauce.
i was expecting something more similar to the vealsandwichesat californiasandwichesfor $12. i left hungry, and i'm by no means a big eater, i actually have to split the veal sandwich from californiasandwicheswith someone else.
in fairness, a co-worker ordered the pizza and it looked and smelled pretty good. i can't comment on the other dishes but stay away from the sandwiches. they're an abomination. if chains like subway and mr. sub are putting out bettersandwichesthan a supposed fine dining restaurant, you're doing something wrong.
