this time in goa we wanted to try something new...so we searched for best places for livemusicin goa...and amongst the 10places we randomly picked cantare(m glad we did!!!) .this place is very homely.we chose a seat in the balcony...and ordered some cocktails first...!then some dishes(sorry don't remember the names😢)it was good. the people there are very friendly...neha is a very good host..!they will help u through your order and make sure that you enjoy there. and last but not the least -themusicthere is awesome!!!!we got to know that there was a new musician from anjuna playing that day.he was too good.we requested a couple of songs and he sang all of them 😊😊😊 the only one problem that we faced was the place in the balcony area gets too hot..!!!otherwise it's a must try if u want to explore new places in goa.

was here last night and what a gem of a find this was... the service is great the ambiance of a village tavern, the livemusicwas amazing a perfect place for a boozy jazz filled evening.
the beef and potatoes were scrumptious but the scene stealer was the seafood glass noodles, it was an explosion of freshness and flavour simply soul food.
they showed the fa cup finals on the big screen and were extremely courteous and served with a smile.
in my 15 years of goan holidays this is one of my true finds... may they live long and prosper!

greatmusic- terrible terrible service - heard so much about the place but really disappointed- many mistakes in the orders taken - many reminders required - food was below average- asked to see richard but guess he was busy and chose not to meet us on a relatively slow evening- tells you about customer service

i just gave one star for the sake of giving some credit. we went to this place only after reading some blogs stating that it is one of the best place for jazz and good food. when we reached the location it was far away from busy calangute area. we had some doubts regarding it being good. still we went ahead thinking maybe it will surprise us. we started by ordering chicken spring roll. it was aweful as no chicken we found in there. now let me come to the music. it was a jazz monday. i think who ever had earlier reviewed on it having some goodmusicwas either drunk or really had some bad taste in music. or maybe they were paid for it. i am very sorry to say that the place needs to revamp in a big way to meet standards as mentioned in blogs (https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.gqindia.com/content/best-live-music-venues-near-me-in-goa-panjim-candolim-morjim-anjuna-benaulim-vagator-baga-beach/amp/).

just love this place, cozy restaurant in middle of sleepy neighbourhood. loved the food and sangria. very courteous and friendly staff. loved the jazzmusicnight(live). deserves 5*. a must visit if you love cafes’ style restaurant.

this is a hidden gem which i was able to trace during my r&d on the internet. a portuguese mansion convert, this place was absolutely lovely to spend my birthday evening. on mondays they have a live jazz performance on the upper floor. they also have screens set up for sports afficionados. i hope they increase the food options as it was really limited. cantare is more of a place to unwind, grab your glass of wine, listen to some goodmusicand have great conversations lloyd borges

thank you guys, you cured my hangover! this place is amazing! first of all - they had nachos. we were very happy! second - the vibe was so nice! the staff was very friendly. the best thing. was. the. music. it started out with reggae adele🤩 it ended on a high, with the amazing band! they were f***cking great! we will diffently come back again, with friends - to teach them what goodmusicis! see you guys thursday for rock/ funk night 😍😍😍😍😍💕💕💕

a classic spot with ambience that would be hard to match. the over hang balcao withmusicwafting thru the space and a view of the narrow street below with a chilled one, makes this a special spot to unwind at. i'll be back. the food was decent, nothing to rave about, but the evenings here are always chilled out.

i am here mid week(thursday) the place is almost empty, and it’s been 1 hr & 45 minutes and my food hasn’t arrived!! if themusicwas not blaring i would have fallen asleep. there are only two nepalese waiters who are just as slow to understand what you tell them. every thing has to be told to them slowly twice! if i am awake till the food arrives. i shall put a review of the food as well. doubt it though 😢

well let me begin ... look and feel i shall rate as 4... staff is friendly.. goodmusicincluding the livemusicthey play on specific days ... the guy serving us sameer tamang n other guys are very polite .. food is served in time ... if u r big on steaks this is the place u should definitely add to your list. marceno rodriguez... ( cookie ) ... is a awesome chef.. .. all in all ... a must visit ... it's definitely on my list.... the thai food is good as well.
