we went for lunch with the great grand parents and a teen, the staff were so accomodating. the food was great, plenty to choose from and those berry filled donuts were to die for. very reasonably priced and i can see why the family love going there.

the best eggs bene i’ve ever had. love the burgers so much. our kids love the kids burgers (we also love the kids burgers come with vege sticks) such yummy food. have been amazing with the covid no contact takeaway. definitely a family favourite

was dissaponted with the food quality (chk burger: nothing unique, small portion batter fried chk, bun too big, oily fries) and service (food took time to arrive , smelly water glasses, flies)
also i feel the fettuccine without meat should not be priced the same as with the meat.
overall need to improve a lot.

very beautiful restaurant with a lot of seating. the menu had a great variety of food to choose from and the food was absolutely delicious. the wait between meals however was a bit slow than expected. took 2 hours for 2 courses to come out. would go again if i was in the area as the food was delicious however would pick a less busy time in the future.

coffee: mochaccino - well brewed, nice art, not too sweet

food: big breakfast - it could feed maybe 1.5 people. though there wasn't anything that specifically stood out for me, i still enjoyed all of its components. a comforting big breakfast. the eggs were runny and the bread was soft, the two most important aspects in my opinion

service: this was a bit disappointing as they were very hesitant to serve a large group, and they openly showed it through their annoyed tone of voice and actions. they asked us to wait outside as "it is a busy time and we can't have you waiting around blocking the entrance". however, the service after we were seated was good.

we ordered camarosa big breakfast and banoffee waffles. the kransky sausages are juicy. beyond that, i love it’s service and atmosphere.

most flavoursome food i have ever tasted really worthwhile before and after. definitely will be dining there again but not alone this time.

wow wow wow! i was lucky enough to come to camarosa and dine like a goddess and not spend a single dime! the boss treated us to lunch at this fine establishment and i am happy to say everyone was beyond impressed with the taste of their meals and the presentation!

i was making #healthychoices this day (after eating at least 5 cheeseboards) and this nourish bowl hit the spot! of course, i couldn't say no to a free dessert!

this restaurant was just a spur of the moment decision, as we were down this way from auckland for other reasons than to just eat, but when the time came to eat we came upon this place. it turned out to be a very good decision. when we first went in, probably as it was a saturday it was busy and we had no reservation so had to settle for a table outside.
that was when we first went in, but after a while we noticed that there were tables inside with no reserved sign on them, so i went in to ask if there was a slight chance we could get a table inside. and the nice young lady by the name of sam checked and did manage to find us a table inside. thank you so much sam!!!
after perusing the menu one of us chose the
nourish bowl, which as they say is made up of all things seasonal they being avocado, edamame, black sesame nori, cauliflower rice, quinoa, cucumber, green cabbage, lettuce, broccoli salad, kimchee, vegan miso mayo and you can choose either smoked salmon or fried chicken to go with it. she chose the chicken. i myself chose the
greenlea scotch fillet steak with creamy potato mash, mushroom and peppercorn sauce.
to sum up the mains. she had no complaints about her nourish bowl, perfect. as for my steak, well it may not look like much in the photo but it was enough to fulfil one's appetite and delicious to boot, cooked to perfection with a potato mash amongst the best i have tasted.
now to the desert, as fulfilled and happy as i was with the steak i just had to satisfy my sweet tooth and sample thier tiramisu. it consisted of italian chocolate soil, hokey pokey and dark chocolate pearls. what a surprise as i have never had a tiramisu like it. maybe you could call it deconstructed, as it was all the ingredients individually but together beautifully presented in a glass. and boy it tasted as good as it looked.
so overall i got to rate this place 10/10 even though we were sat outside at first. service, food and atmosphere all top notch. will definetly be back again... and the price was good too.

my friend and i booked a table at camarosa for friday 14 february 2020, valentine's day. we booked two weeks in advance because we knew it would be a busy night. upon booking we were informed by camarosa that we would have to "respectfully leave our table" two hours after our booking time. however yesterday we had a phone call from camarosa informing us that we would have to make sure we were on time and not late. we were also told that we would only have one hour and 45 minutes to eat our dinner as they were very busy and fully booked that night. needless to say we cancelled our reservation. we are not sure if this is the normal practice for restaurants taking bookings but we felt it was very rude and we no longer wanted to spend our money at this restaurant. if we had wanted fast food we would have gone to mc donald's!

this was by far the best avocado on toast i have ever had. they use volare bread. it kept its crunch even after i took my time to get though the meal and it was somehow light and fluffy yet very filling. the avocado, with the cheese and the hummus was fresh and worked well together. very good flavours, and the creaminess of all three components was on point. the only downside was the service, a table which arrived around 15 minutes after us got their coffee before us which was a bit disappointing, given the restaurant was kind of empty and we put a coffee order through as soon as we were seated. the waiter who directed us to our table wasn’t very friendly, he was older than the other staff working that day, maybe it’s wrong of me to assume this but can’t figure out whether it was because we didn’t look like the usual crowd that comes in, or because he maybe has been working hospo for too long 🤷🏻‍♀️. didn’t manage to crack a smile despite greeting him with a smile and being polite. however the other waitresses and waiters were friendly. the waitress who took over was straight forward and clear when taking our order and talking us through a couple of things on the menu and answering our questions.

visited on boxing day, worth the drive from auckland..
chicken burger was one of the best and the jackfruit burger was good too..
very modern venue and staff are very friendly.
had seen the place under construction some time back , great to see it up and running...
would love to come back to try other dishes ..

poor service but food food was fantastic, big portion and flavourful well worth the price.

the story is we were a group a 12 ppl booked to have lunch here after doing an ocular site visit just aroung matangi for my brother and his fiance's wedding. it was my family and her family. the ambience of the place and the aesthetics was great. what i didn't like was the service of the lady who welcomed us by the door. we came in at around 11.15 and their were only a couple of tables onsite, we made a booking for 12 pax before hand for 12 pm and yes we came in early, we were going to ring in before hand but we didnt see the point as the place we were coming from was just around the corner. she didnt sound welcoming and said that we couldnt sit yet, and we said so did you want us to come back in 45 mins then despite the place looking empty on the other half and a couple of tables on the other - then she offered the private function room (didnt really see why she couldnt sit us to our reserved table).she then kept asking if everyone was already on site and kept telling that yes a couple were just in the bathroom, she then asked us to have a drinks order ready before the assigned waittress comes in a tone of voice which we didnt like (unfortunately didnt quite get her name as they dont wear name badges here). so the assigned waitress came and took our drinks order and food order. the starters were served and we asked for to get a refill for our jugs of water - person serving said ill get your waittress to get you some more water. no water came, food order arrived and we asked someone else to get us some water, servers said the same thing "our waittress will get us water", until just one of stood up and got a couple of water bottles for the table, i dont see why noone else can just give us water when the bar isn't even that far away from that room. and also, if they could serve us food why cant they just serve us water too?

will recommend the place for the food but will have to warn our friends about the service. after getting so excited for the nearing wedding day in the family, this ruined our afternoon. fyi most of us travelled all the way from auckland looking forward for this family lunch and was ruined by your poor service.

absolutely amazing! i got the angel burger and a mocha and it was outstanding. the coffee is incredible and the food comes out hot! beautiful interior and amazing staff. the service is very good and they always ask how everything is going. me and my friend loved it. definitely a place to go - and lots of parking!
