this place was the first eatery i visited inathenson a recent trip. place was jam packed. vibe was great. they only accept cash. order came up on time and tasted good. pineapple shakes with milk were great.

love their pork tamales! this has been one of our favorites restaurants inathenswhen visiting our college students. their chips and pico de gayo are wonderful. a great place to take your college student and their friends and not break the bank. also, they allow for byo beer with a fee. of course everyone will have to show their id.

wow. new to the area, and driving past i noticed this place. it stands out from the others. unique décor and awesome colors. after driving past a few times i decided to check out the reviews on this place. seeing how it has awesome responses we decided to stop. another wow dining experience to add to the list.athensis a great area for food, and this is on the top of the list. interior décor is just as awesome as the outside, the staff was very friendly and helpful. the food was nothing short of amazingly full of flavor and made the entire dinner experience the topic of conversation. i cannot wait until warmer weather to enjoy the open atmosphere this place has, and to try more of the great selections the menu has to offer. i had the steak tacu tacu which was delicious, and oh for the appetizer, be sure to try and pico and chips.

had a friend recommend this place as a good lunch stop while traveling through athens. wow, just wow! the prices are very low, the food is delicious, and the hot sauce burns so good.

i ordered a fish taco, chicken taco, and pork taco and was delighted with my choices. the fish and pork tacos were very close to some of the best taco's i've ever eaten. the chicken taco was good but i would recommend pork or fish over chicken hands down. each taco was about $2 making the three of them an incredibly delicious, very filling, affordable lunch.

in addition to great food there were a lot of really good authentic mexican soda's (we went with the grapefruit on and really enjoyed it).

we did not go during a busy time but i could see how the parking and wait could be an issue if it was packed but that is an issue in most ofathens(see 2 story coffee house). also make sure to bring cash and be willing to move your dishes when you are finished.

overall, a fancy restaurant this is not. but if you are looking for some incredible food at a great price look no further. i will be back.

yes, of all the wonderful restaurants thatathenshas to offer, cali n titos is undecidedly my favorite! housed in an adorable purple and teal colored "shack" on lumpkin st., this place has easily won my heart ever since i was a freshman. the tasty foods, the cozy and unique atmosphere, everything about cnt is awesome! they offer some of the best cuban, peruvian and mexican food all under one roof & at amazing prices! it's sad that i have yet to come across a restaurant in atlanta offering a similar cuisine and affordable prices. while i have had about 90% of the menu the 50+ times i've dined here in the course of four years, here were items we ordered that night. let's get started: ❀cali n titos interior (too dark to take an exterior photo) ❀lomo saltado with chicken ($8.95 or $

best cuban restaurant in athens. okay to be fair i have not been to any other cuban restaurant to my knowledge in athens. however i do find this popular joint a must eat-at for anybody. i have to recommend, (like everybody else did) the cuban sandwich. (el cubano especial) if you cannot decide on which variation just stick the original. if you cannot decide on what to drink just randomly select a beverage off the list. (actually you might want to make sure what it is before ordering) they have several canned drinks that are popular in the cuba and not so popular here so why not try one while your there?

one downside about cali n tito's is that the are cash only. make sure you have cash in your pocket or a check or you won't get your food.

if you callathenshome or "just temporary" cali n tito's must be visited at least once for the unique experience.

this place is absolutely incredible! been here so many times i can't even count. last night, me and some friends came here. the food was great as usual, however, upon leaving and making it home i realized i didn't have my iphone or wallet. i left them on our table and was sure that no one would have turned them in. i came back to find that a waitress had found and stored my phone and wallet safely. this establishment not only prepares great food consistently, they have employees who show honesty, integrity, and kindness to all their customers. i wouldn't be surprised if i came back 30 years from now and this place was still around. note to the owner: you should probably think about expanding. ever thought about decatur? great little city and a lot likeathensin many ways.

if you don't like calintitos then get the hell out of america.

a great restaurant. i went there the first time for lunch, and returned the same day for dinner. any time i'm inathensi eat there. everything on the menu rocks. the cuban is the best sandwich anywhere, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. it's one of the most fun places you can eat.
