when i was a student at uga, cali n tittos was one of my local favorites. two years away in north carolina, it was a place i constantly missed, and now that i have returned not a single thing has changed at this establishment. the restaurant is a perfect example of what a college town eatery should be: authentic, and cheap. your meal will almost always cost less than $10, but the restaurant could charge double the price and still be successful.
traditionally, i go for one of their cuban options or the tito burrito, but everything they offer is great. this most recent tie i went with the cuban's peruvian brother, the criolla. like the cuban it consists of pork, but also puts an emphasis on fresh vegetables, making it a healthier alternative.
sometimes, seeing a restaurant not change is a bad thing. in this case, i cannot be happier.
