don't eat here.  my experience was unacceptable: met family here for brunch- after everyone else at the table was eating, i had to ask twice where myfoodwas.  when it arrived it was cold - the scrambled eggs were overcooked and chewy and the bacon waffle was hard as a rock.  i ate a couple of bites then quit.  no waitress appeared until she was handing out the bills - she said sorry and handed me the bill.  poor customer service and poorly prepared food.  we will never eat here again.

disappointed. this was the second time i've been to this place.foodwas expensive, it was so loud you couldn't talk in a normal voice...and they didn't have enough people serving the tables....the only thing i have positive to say, was that the view was gorgeous...

absolutely wonderful!. so many wonderful options! i just don't know what is my favorite: eggs benedict, pear & goat cheese sandwich, fish-n-chips, and really good salads. yes, really good salads. the potatoes with the breakfast are so yummy. this is clearly freshfoodthat is professionally prepared. overlooks a lovely duck pond. outdoor seating in appropriate weather. love this place.

disappointing. we have been a patron of murrayhill for several years, but our last 2 visits have been disappointing. they have significantly increased their prices forfoodas well as wine and the service is very uneven. i suspect there is either a new owner or a new manager that needs to pay closer attention to training of both server as well as kitchen staff. too bad, it was one of our favorites.

cafe murry hill is quite a lovely spot. the view is wonderful of the man-made pond. the decor is light and airy perfect for any celebration. the menu is very sophisticated for a “cafe”. i can’t wait to go back and try some or their dinner menu. also i would love to go back for breakfast and sit outside on a warm day. upon our arrival we were told we could sit anywhere we’d like. the restaurant was pretty full at lunch time. overall service was average nothing i would scream about but ourfooddid come out in a timely manner and our order was taken promptly. i guess what i’m trying to say is the whole staff could have used a few more smiles. it’s a little uncomfortable dining somewhere when most of the staff is clearly not happy about being at work.

better than ruby tueday, but . . .. spendy for what you get. shrimp appetizer lacked flavor. crab cake was good. ceasesr salad was a joke scallops were the better part of the meal with the artichoke-risotto. the butter-squash ravioli was good.

not bad overall, so why my negative vote? two reasons:

first, the "hostess" was unfriendly and should have stayed home. the waiter was trying his best, but lacked any good training. not real attentive. second, it was over-priced. i don't mind spending money iffoodis a wow. my score is 2/5 and no compelling reason to come back when there are so many other places to try.

very nice ambience, great selection offood(try the bacon waffle). service was prompt, very kind, personable.foodarrived quickly and was good quality. would recommend for a first brunch experience.

excellent service!. seven of us went for dinner there last night, and everything was wonderful! our server was knowledgeable and understated, thefoodwas more than we hoped for, just a pleasant evening all around. none of us were disappointed, and it was well worth the money.

we will definitely go back!

we are regular brunch eaters and were delighted to discover this sunny cafe! the staff is friendly the coffee strong and thefoodoutstanding. we had the blue corn pancakes, greek frittata and veggie omlette. all were delicious especially the omlette with goat cheese and carmelized onions. we will definitely be back!
