visited on saturday afternoon as a couple for late lunch (2ish).servicewas mediocre from the outset but food was worth it. scared to imagineserviceduring busy periods though.

for a starter we had the hummus which was great, a large portion with plenty of chips and pita (good for 4 i'd say). we both had the chicken kebab wrap which was good, though i had mine with the excellent lentil soup. we finished with the delicious surprise complimentary tiramisu which though small was worth the visit alone.

would visit again for sure, but would still avoid busy periods

forever everyone kept telling me to try cafe maurice. i went and dined a week ago. the facilities were clean, theservicewas great, our meal came out pretty quickly. the food was great, don't get me wrong, but i don't think the price was worth all the hype.

outstanding 5 star dinner. my wife and i dined at café maurice last night and had an outstanding 5 star experience! the food was amazing and theservicewas absolutely perfect! everything is made fresh daily and the presentation is unbelievable. each of the owners greeted us before the meal and followed up with us during the meal. café maurice should be your must visit place at least two times a week. (it's thursday and we have been there twice already this week!)

bad service. this used to be our "go to" lunch spot but theserviceis so bad! it takes a long time to get your food..and most of the time we order a salad. it shouldn't be a half hour wait for a salad. the waitresses have such bad attitudes and don't even try to act like they could be enjoying what they do. they seem very angry about their jobs. the owner usually makes an appearance when someone she is friendly with is in the dining room which is fine, but the staff needs management!

the food was amazing but theservicesucked. no one smiled or greated us. our waitress was talking to other waiters while we were trying to say our order. she dropped our drinks off without saying a word instead of taking our order and walked away. she was coming off as irritated when i asked about the menu because it was my first time there. i was a waitress for five years so i know goodserviceand cafe maurice had very poor service. i hope chef ramsey doesn't ever show up because he would love the food but hate the service!

good service, needs front of house management. i've been here a number of times. what brings me back is the food (loaded humus for example). the food always tastes great and is reasonably priced. what shoehorns weeks or months between my visits is the total disaster that is the front of house. the wait staff is plenty nice but they are without a doubt the most disorganized group i've ever encountered.

the first time i went there the waitress couldn't get our orders right. i told her what i wanted (beef kabobs). she then took my girlfriend's order. then repeated chicken kabobs to me which i corrected. then repeated my girlfriend's order to her which wasn't right. then repeated chicken kabobs to me yet again and again i corrected her. she never wrote anything down. in the end i got one each of chicken and beef. she dropped off the food and we never saw her again. we never got refills for anyone including the person that appeared to be the manager. she was too preoccupied chatting it up (loudly) with the tables around us, sitting and gabbing the whole time we were there. we finally had to ask another waitress for our bill.

our most recent visit was for lunch. the food again was great but there was no one seating people. we just happened to get pointed towards a table after standing in the doorway for a few minutes. from the corner of the room we had a great view of the front door and of the dozen or so groups of people that came in, waited to be seated, got noservicewhatsoever, turned and walked out. on the way out we finally noticed a menu stand in the entryway between the 2 sets of doors that said to seat yourself. total cluster.

get a good front of house manager and train the staff and this place will excel. leave it like this and you'll always have love/hate reviews from people who had hot/cold experiences there.

the food andservicewere wonderful! want to go back and enjoy more of their food.

love this place. every time i'm in wichita i eat at cafe marice at least once a week. the chicken skewers, roasted veggies, and fatoush are just fab. my sis loves the tabouli salad. the hummus is soo good and so is the baba ghanoush!

atmosphere is nice.serviceis quick and courteous.

my family and i love the place! the food is great (try the fattoush salad) & we love the french desert. the waitresses are very friendly and theserviceis fast.

dinner. had dinner at cafe maurice on a friday night with friends. we all agreed that the food was very good. theservicewas very bad though. they did not have enough wait staff for the busy dinner crowd. we never got our water refilled and the waitress never came back to check on us after the food was delivered. the restaurant was also very cold. i will dine at this restaurnat again, but will probably just do take out.
