friendly and efficient and good!. my husband and i have been coming to c&b's since camille and beth bought it. not only have they improved the appearance of the restaurant, they also improved the menu. their chicken and dumplings (normally on thursdays in the winter) are out of this world! real home cooking. staff is friendly and efficient (rarely do you ever wait) and if you want something special it's not a problem! you feel really welcome and that your patronage is appreciated.

my husband and i went to the c and b diner for breakfast this morning. we had never been before and knew nothing about other than what i found on urbanspoon. i think we stumbled upon a great new spot. while it was a little busy this morning (a saturday), we had no trouble getting a table, which we ended up sharing with another couple who have clearly been regulars for a while. the waitress was very welcoming and clearly knew many of the patrons.
i ordered the french toast special, with scrambled eggs, 2 sausage links and a side of hash browns, while my husband ordered the 'junk bowl'. we were both pleasantly surprised by how good the food tasted, and while we did wait about 20 minutes for it to arrive, it didn't bother us. the ambiance is great, with that down home, comfortable feeling. we will definitely be coming back

down home cooking. we've been coming to this just outside our neighborhood restaurant since 2001 when we moved here, and when it was named bibby's. if anything, it has improved since becoming c an b's. we go here mainly for breakfast because we get what we want, quickly and for a very reasonable price. the eggs are always done correctly, but we really like the home fries! the bacon is always cooked crispy, and more importantly is always done, not soggy like some places. the biscuits are bigger than most other restaurant's biscuits, and so flaky! the one thing we really like about eating the great food is the service. everyone who works here are like relatives to the customers. the good one, not the ones you can't stand. this is out favorite breakfast restaurant in hampton roads.

we tried it for the first time (10.24.20) and were not pleased in the least!! we got 2 veggie omelets, fried potatoes, corned beef hash and toast..total $28. to go.
veggie omelet: more green peppers than egg should have been called a green pepper stir fry. then covered in a tasteless white goopy gravy.
fried potatoes:burnt..old.. you could tell they were re-deep fried.. who knows how many times.
corned beef hash: got about 1/4 cup (or less)$5.00 each. burnt!
toast: it was good..lol. its toast.. hlad they dodnt burn it.
everything was burnt and tasted like a grill that hadn't been cleaned in a month!! clean your grill!! $28.00 in the trash!

what a great place, i can't believe i've lived here a bunch of years and never noticed it. the food and service was great. i had the two eggs, toast, home fries, and big links for 4.50, a price that is better than going to a fast food place. the wall decorations were very nice and the whole place had a "homey atmosphere".  there were a lot of customers and most appeared to be regulars. i think they tried to keep it a secret but now that i know about it, i will be back.

great down-home cooking and atmosphere. sometimes, i half expect sheriff taylor and opie to stop by on their way to the fishin' hole and that's a very, very good thing.

c&b's diner review. i guess the secret's out so i'll be honest.
the food atmosphere & service is great at c&b's!
i wanted to find a local family run place vs nat'l chain place when i 1st went there a few years ago , to support the local economy.
i've been happy ever since :)

impressed. i was told about this little diner by some of my coworkers. i am new to the deep creek area so i checked it out. holy cow!!!! 2 eggs, grits, toast and fried bologna... $4.50. the food is good, the girls are really attentive and you leave full and happy. now, i did take my grandson for christmas breakfast with santa... now i know how that place stays in business. they have a huge following.

first time customer. great place to eat. i had the two egg with corned beef hash and it was fantastic. food was hot and served in a timely manner by a very friendly staff. my only complaint is that they could use bigger plates since they serve such large portions! i will definitely go again and the c & b diner has my highest recommendations.

this diner offers a high quality breakfast and lunch at a very low cost. we were so impressed by the customer service and the good itself! the owner was so incredibly welcoming, friendly and funny, and we felt we were back home! the prices are unbelievably low, and that was very helpful as we were on a budget! the location is family friendly, and the other regular customers speak so highly and are so welcoming! i recommend this establishment to everyone seeking as savory, memorable and authentic norfolk diner experience.

c and b signature cookie!. my friend and i stopped by c and b today and tried their new signature cookie, absolutely amazing. its cookies and cream with real oreo chunks, chocolate chips, and a soft center. not too rich but just right! we will be back again(:

down home cookin. food is fantastic,just like mammas !!! staff couldn't be any friendlier and on top their game. get there early for breakfest or lunch the place fills up fast !

c & b diner great food-great people -great prices etc. i have been eating at c and b diner for as long as they have been open and the food is great, prices great , people there are great. and there is a atmosphere of togethernees and family between all the people and the all the customers. check it our you will not be disappointed!!!

i work near by and eat there every few weeks. food is always good, never have had to wait very long even when they were busy. food is priced very well as well. never a complaint about c and b's.
