visited this restaurant on a monday night and both the burgers and service were very good. milkshakes taken out were almost asgoodas maggy moo's! we loved the branded buns!

burgerfi over on harrison in cary is serving up some pretty decent burgers to thegoodfolk in the triangle. they describe themselves as a"stylish, eco-minded chain serving grass-fed beef burgers, plus hot dogs, craft beer & wine." it reminded me a little of shakeshack, only more homely inside, and less industrialthe burgers are all angus grass fed, which is interesting as i have never seen a scottish burger grazing on the hillsides, oh sorry i get it now, cows eat grass.it must be prettygoodas i have been here at least half a dozen times in the last few months, and i hardly ever go back to the same places when i am out myfoodhunting.

absolutely loved their food. the staff are really polite and i love their ambience. the onion rings were to die for. overall, agoodexperience. 👌

great and fast service thrusday night. everything was great. we walked inside thrusday around 545 pm and no line we got everything we wanted and we have 3 kids 2 adults at 40.00 dollars. the lg fries are great, lg onion rings are awesome, kids loved their root beer float, the kids single burgers are a great size for them..... i shared a large fri between all 5 of us my hubby got the burger fi double and ate it so fast and that is agoodsign. i had the breakfast all day burger that is amazing. next time i gotta try the milkshakes. our food was out in less the ten minutes and it's better then steak n shake. definitely going back. my daughters were happy for hours!

ok burgers - but there are many better options for a better price.... the burgers are fine, but overpriced. if you really want agoodburger, go togooddog, 500 degrees, shake shack, five guys, los truck... the list goes on...

delicious.. loved it. i also don't mind paying $2 above the average fast food burger price, because the quality of the food is fantastic. it was very tasty, & made with 100% free-range beef.goodluck finding that for a cheaper price.

personally, i had their classic double 'burgerfi burger' with bacon, & found the size to be plenty large. i honestly thought it was delicious. my husband & i shared a large 'urban fry', which was a huge portion that could've easily satisfied 3 adults. fresh cut potatoes sprinkled with herbs & parmesan, served with a side of garlic aioli. for under $5. mmmmm.

all i'm saying is, consider me a big, new fan.

small burgers. this place was a bit disappointing to me. you start in line waiting to be called upon and place your order then you are handed your cups for self service (nothing wrong with that) and a buzzer/pager to tell you when your order is ready.

so far....nothing wrong.

it took too long for the buzzer to go off for you to then have to go back to the counter to retrieve what you ordered.

the build your own burger was too small (single). i don`t like double or tipple burgers burgers.

the single burger was cooked perfect (except too small), just a little pink on the inside, the way i like it. the manager came by to see if everything was ok and when i mentioned how pleased i was with the way the burger was cooked he assured me that was a mistake and it will never happen again.

the plain fries are very good....no additives are necessary but they do have a very nice selection of different toppings/seasonings.

the portion of fries isgoodenough for two people and maybe three people.

the whole place was very neat and clean everywhere i could see including the restroom.

my son wants to go back....i had to order him a second burger which i wished he would split with me but that never even came close to happening.

burgerfi....burger fah. don't waste your time or money on the new altamonte springs location. service was horrible, the girl taking my order was more interested in talking to her family who was in the line next to me so i was not surprised when my order was screwed up even though we repeated several times, the manager needs to go back to the used car lot he worked for. the food was palatable but you can get a better burger, better service for way cheaper down the street at graffiti junction. the onlygoodthing was the musician playing outside, as he was the only thing that mad this a pleasant experience. he should play at graffiti junction .

it's on both of my lists. i've been on a self-proclaimed quest for the perfect cheeseburger for 16 years. though i've lived and travelled across the country, i haven't yet found the perfect cheeseburger, but i have two lists. one is my all-time favorite cheeseburgers and the other is favorite cheeseburgers available to me because of where i live. burgerfi has been added to both of my lists.

i think burgerfi is better than five guys, which the restaurant seems to model itself. here are my reasons why:

i like a proprietary "secret sauce" on my burger. i grew up in the pnw where such "secret sauces" are common, and they are called "goop". while i think the best burgers require no condiments, i also think agoodgoop makes for a tasty burger. the burgerfi sauce is a classic goop that enhances the flavor of the burger and also makes for a great fry dipping sauce.

i'm not keen on fresh cut, fried in peanut oil fries, but burgerfi does them the best i've had, plus you can get them dressed up. the parmesan & herb topping with garlic aioli on the side was a pleasant alternative to lots of salt and ketchup. the onion rings are too large for my preference, but are tasty.

some might find the single patty too small, but i think it's perfectly portioned. the size of the drink cup needs to be bigger or offer more sizing options. while dining in refills are available, but if i got an order to go i'd be displeased.

my dh and i have been to both raleigh and cary locations and we're looking forward to the one coming soon to chapel hill.

pricey for what you get. i've been excited for burgerfi to open up since i heard it was coming to cary months ago. the menu lookedgoodand i like that everything was green, grass fed, etc. it seemed like agoodconcept. my wife and i decided to go last night and the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, from the lighting, the patio, the huge industrial fans, etc.

so, we both decided to order our burgers from the "secret menu" (of which our cashier seemed a little annoyed by) -- her the supreme burger and me the alternative style burger. we also got a regular order of fries to share and two hoppyum draft beers. total was $28. we are given a pager and we go sit on the patio. ten minutes later, we're buzzed and i go pick up our food.

first thing i noticed was the size (or lack thereof) of the burgers. they were about the same diameter of a regular mcd's hamburger with a little thicker patty. over $6 for this! i got back to our table and noticed that the branded bun seemed like it had either been steamed or had somehow had some condensation on it. it was slightly soggy as opposed to the nice toasted bun picture from their website.

my burger with cheese and grilled chopped onion on it was good. the burger was cooked nicely and the onions hadgoodflavor. my wife's burger tasted a little plain, like they didn't season the mushrooms -- tasted like it was missing something. the fries were cooked well (not soggy), but lacked salt and thus flavor. i was honestly disappointed as i had been looking forward to it for such a long time.

after we finished the meal, i was still hungry, so we went to have pizza and drinks at bella mia. i will probably give them another shot, but for the price i can almost go to chuck's downtown and have an excellent burger and fries (and be full).

great burger but..... tried burgerfi for the first time last evening and other than issues i will attribute to inexperience it was a good... not great.....experience.

ambiance: cool...love the meat hook lights...clean, lovely patio dining with water for dogs.

burger: the meat was awesome...i ordered off the secret menu, but one of my toppings was missing (no cheese on the bacon, mushroom,and american cheese burger). but again, i over looked that since the taste of the burger meat was heavenly and as close to perfect as it comes for a chain restaurant.

fries: i ordered extra cooked...which i assumed would mean extra crispy. what i got was greasy limp fries. fail.

onion rings: if you love a huge onion ring then these are for you! they were perfectly cooked; the onion inside was cooked enough so that when you bit in the whole onion didn't come with the first bite leaving you with an empty onion flavored shell of batter. each onion ring took many bites to eat so if you like that style of onion ring these are highly recommended.

shake: shake was delicious however, not filled to 'fill' line,,,,the dollop of whip cream put the top of the whip cream at the fill line. when we asked about it, we were told that's how full it should be, then the server took another look and said maybe it could use a little more...since it was a take out order, we didn't want to wait for them to make another shake and fill it up some more, but we were happy that, after a bit of prodding, it was offered.

overall...agoodnot great experience. we will give burgerfi a little more time to get it together then give it another try.
