burger bar crescent

one of the best!. there have been many a burger resto opening up in montreal in the last few years, this is definitely one of the best and its agreatplace for drinks as well. try the small terrase in the summer for people watching on crescent.

it’s a combination ofgreatambience, delayed service, amazing burgers and average fries. yes correct! they definitely need to improve the quality of the fries. they were a bit soggy and thick. the next part about the burgers were that you can replace the beef patty with a veggie patty in all their burgers, which is amazing. the burgers were tasty too but a bit over priced. overall a good experience!

i have been here several times and every time i have tried a different burger! they are really tasty and fresh meat! i've tried "the boss" "the hangover burger" "burger week burgers" and a lot more! if you like lots of topping andgreatservice this is the place for you

burger bar crescent was an excellent find. the burger was excellent, the poutine was excellent, the service was very good. it was agreatplace to have a very good gourmet burger, one that i'll remember for a long time.

cool place. burgers were stacked high and cooked perfect. the vibe was exciting with lots of laughter, music and talking. i really enjoyed my mojito which was made with real fresh mint leaves and lots of booze.greatfood, drinks and atmosphere. i recommend this place

among the best in the city. maybe the finest. obviously and incredibly fresh.greatfries. cool little bar. anybody who doesn't like a burger here must have been raised on mcdonalds.

watch out for included tips. food is great, service is fine. but one problem stands out for me. last time we went, we were a group of 8 and the waitress had already included the tip on our bill, but this is common practice for groups.

the problem lies on the amount of tip they include. generally, it should be 18%. on my bill, there was a written indication showing that 15% tips was included but in reality, it was a 21% tip they charged.

i didn't mind that much because i always tend to overtip, but still, they should clearly indicate the amount of tip i'm paying, instead of writting a false percentage. i think it's a really bad practice that customer's should be aware of. one of my friend argued with the waitress, and finally got his included tip changed, so don't be afraid to do so.

i think it's sad to see that because it brings some unsatisfaction on wath is otherwse agreatexperience.

rock n' roller was incredable. i visited burger bar with a group of 5 guys from new york and we could not have enjoyed the food more. it was a super busy which is a also a sign it must be agreatplace. there were lots of locals and tourists. the service was friendly and fun. the price was more than fair. what more can you ask for?

red sangria wasn't that good. ordered three burgers cooked medium and all came out well done. otherwise the burgers were decent and fit the usual montreal burger theory that taller and messier is better. boss is your standard burger with a fried egg. burger royale comes with double cheese. and firestorm is the spicy burger with lots of banana peppers, jalapeño relish, jalapeno havarti, spicy mayo, and a homemade 911 hot sauce that is a combo of several hot sauces. it was hot but not so hot you can't enjoy it. fries were fresh cut. salad had a nice orange vinaigrette dressing. service was good, friendly, and helpful. overall, better burgers than several others i've tried in montreal, but still notgreatin my book.

poutine is good. i loved the food and atmosphere at burger bar. i also have to add that the women working there were out of control pretty and very friendly. we heard from friends back home that burger bar was “a must go” so we stopped in. i really wasn’t expecting thegreatfood, service and ambiance. it was busy so it was really fun with many different groups of people to talk to as well as enjoy our own company. montreal is agreatcity which we will return too soon. we sat at the bar and ended up spending a lot of good time watching the game on tv, eating crazygreatburgers and drinking lots of beer. we also tried a dish called poutine which was really good.

their food may not have been an eye-opener of any sort, but they serve some decent burgers for a downtown burger joint. they also have a really nice ambiance, so it's agreatplace to bring dates, have parties, or to just hang out with friends.

agreatlunch spot in montreal's downtown core. i had the royale with cheese (as the pulp fiction fan that i am) and it was awesome. the fries were tasty, the service wasgreatand the atmosphere was very chill. i will be back... with friends!

burgilicious. the burgers did take a bit of time but goodness is never rushed and the burgers that i had were great. the royale and supersonic are my fav's but am going to try more before the summer is over, waistline will need to hit the gym for sure. bar keep is wonderful, easy to talk to and so are the waitresses, ask and they'll answer, they were never rude. one did forget the water but no biggie, she gave me a cola to make up for it but she didn't have to. overall wonderful experience but may not be to some people's tastes.
it seems some people have a different view of what a burger should be. if some people want a vege-burger then go to a place that specializes in it, they do exist, i know a few and they're very good. some people like to nag on about what they feel a place should be instead of looking at the whole picture. if you want a burger and a juicy one then the burger bar is agreatplace for it. i've eaten there several times since they opened and have not had any issues with the 'wooden' skewer, besides it's not wood it's bamboo. i totally dig the terrasse, cramped as it may be.
