burg and barrel

meh.... great beer selection, ok food (once we got it), awful service/server. the highlight was my boulevard tripel julep and the bartender that tried so hard to make up for our server. theburgerwas good, the onion rings were cold, sent back, fresh ones were kinda bland (don't care for their coating, same on the 'shrooms). the mediocrity of the food, awkward location and poor server will need to change to keep me interested.

terrible. the service was absolutely terrible and our order got completely screwed up. we had to send aburgerback because it was raw in the middle when we asked for medium. then when we got the new burger, the bun was soggy and the avocado wasn't ripe. we didn't eat it because it was so bad and still got charged. not to mention we waited 45 minutes for the first order even though we were one of two tables in the restaurant. we won't be going back.

great, great burgers!. simply the best burgers i've ever had! the white truffle buttermilk aioli on the baby bella made theburgerdivine. i could have eaten three or four! the bacon jam is equally delicious. the sweet potato fries are crispy, not mushy as they are some restaurants. the service was prompt and friendly. this is the place for a great burger!

very impressed. i loved the spicy avocado burger! what a great spot. it has an upbeat pub atmosphere and theburgercan't be beat. they actually have a simple but solid menu and very reasonable prices. if you want great food at reasonable prices this is a great place to go. theburgerwas big and juicy and cooked to perfection. the handcut fries are awesome too. the have a huge selection of beer and its a fun spot. i would go back in a heart beat!

good spot! it kind of reminded me of buffalo wild wings, but a lot more relaxed. smaller place and less crowded, but good bar food menu and good service. tots and fries were solid, and diabloburgerexceeded expectations. will definitely go back.

i’m not always aburgerperson, but these are among the best i’ve had. add in the bacon wrapped asparagus or the fried pickles and you’re guaranteed to happily exceed whatever calorie restrictions you may have had. add in one of their wide variety of beers and you’ll have no room for regret—or dessert.

great-tasting, large burgers with a variety of toppings. wide variety of beers with signs over the bar that tell you how much is left in the barrel. easily in the top tier ofburgerrestaurants.

these folks are serious about their libations and it's freshness. a huge selection on tap and a tote board approach to inventory and pricing. unique to say the least. i wish i was able to say the same about their burgers. i ordered the classique - it arrived unseasoned. the fries were very over seasoned.  my bun had completely fallen apart on the third bite so i left half of myburgerdisaster and all but a few fries to be carried away. the waitress didn't ask me how my meal was - i was waiting for her to when she looked questioningly at my almost full plate. i'll be back to drink but probably won't come in to eat again.

bestburgeri've ever had!. i ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was so good it didn't need any condiments!!!! the fish looked fantastic too. can't wait to go again! (i live an hour and a half away)

bestburgerin op. this placed used to house some of the most interesting and unique people overland park had to offer until the burg moved in. i wanna first start by saying that the staff and new owners are very good people. they are knowledgable, experienced, and get what it takes to make a good restaurant bar work.

the food is outstanding. i've enjoyed 3 of their burgers, a salad, and the new specialty blt wrap. all have been incredible! i think i'm pretty picky when it comes to my beloved burgers but they are hand pattied which you can tell the difference. seasoned to perfection!

the craft beer selection is one of a kind. they have some taps but a bottle beer list that seems to go on forever. i'm gonna say at least 100. i could be wrong but i do know their are plenty. i've tried several different ipa's that they offer, some good some great but i like having the options.

the atmosphere here has stepped up quite a bit from the previous decor. it's very comfortable and inviting where the former was pretty dungy and drab but that may have been the regulars.

overall, i am truly glad this place opened up in our neighborhood. it's a great place to grab a bite and enjoy some different beers. --- a+
