oh... buen comer... 💙 not once did i regret listening to a friend’s recommendation to try this place 💙

we ordered:
1)steakand rice pilaf (288 php, good for 1 pax): sadly, they ran out of rice pilaf and we had the option to choose from garlic, plain, or bbq rice (we chose bbq). this was really good. you get what you pay for with the super tender, well-seasoned meat. they only give you disposable utensils and none got broken from slicing the meat. however, i think the rice pilaf would make a significant difference in upping the game of this dish. hopefully next time it will be available.
2) nacho potato crisp (168 php, 3-4 pax): a first-time order last night! no regrets. super sulit for the price and the huuuge, overflowing serving. the flavors work together but i found the potatoes to be a bit too salty. it goes well together with their guacamole (💚💚💚) and maybe i’ll just have them lessen the salt next time.
3)steakand fries wrap (268 php, 1-2 pax): winner winnersteakdinner!!! my og, my go-to order whenever in buen comer! i’ve tasted their kare-kare burrito but still prefer this one because of the uber tender, generous meat serving with good ratio with the fries. one order is more than enough for one person.

we got first dibs on buen comer poquellas’ new wrap! they’re pretty popular for their take on fil-mex burritos and quesadillas.

dubbed the hangover wrap, it consists of steak, crunchy liempo, two fried eggs, fried rice, and chili garlic.

they call it hangover wrap because this is something that they think is the perfect meal after a night of drinking.

this is one hell of a wrap! i like to call this a breakfast wrap because of its components and i can imagine eating this first thing in the morning.

the combination of the perfectly cookedsteakand the saltiness and crunchiness of the liempo works really well and it satisfies the carnivore inside you. the addition of the eggs and fried rice makes this a complete and very filling meal.

it’s not on their menu so just ask them if you want to try it. definitely another home run for team buen comer. masarap!

i’ve been going to buen comer since 2018! i already tried a lot from their menu but my current fave issteakand fries. thesteakis so soft and perfectly cooked. every. single. time. talk about consistency!!

japanese wrap, nacho crisps, and kare-kare burrito is also a must-try.

we went on a weekday night where there is less crowd.
tried the buffalo wings,steakand quesadillas.i like their sauces and the ambience.hope they invest in good food containers / plates to add value to their food.

this is the best mexican restau in maginhawa. you should try theirsteakpilaff, the flavour burst in your mouth. worth the price!! i’ll recommend this to my friends and relatives.

one of the best fil-mex restos in the metro! their servings are massive and definitely worth the price. it’s in an isolated residential area, with not much foot traffic but i’d gladly eat there every week. the ambience is not very fancy but it’s enough, given the prices and target market. i would recommend getting the kare-kare burrito andsteakwith rice. although my favorite thing about the place would have to be it’s triple sauces. i pour it on everything.

this place deserves a 5 star rating!masarap na mexican food, pare.steak& fries wrap + buffalo chicken & fries wrap (medyo spicy) + potato nachos!!!! generous serving and not that pricey!! 💯

medyo mahirap humanap ng parking since they don’t have a lot of parking spaces but we keep coming back because of the food. sulit and masarap. recommend: kare kare burrito,steakand fries wrap, chicken quesadilla and cajun fries!

best burrito ive ever had. recommended this place to almost all my friends and they also loved the place. i didnt really want to make a review about this place because it's too good to share to everyone but this place is already getting popular by itself! 😅 ive come here a 100 times already abd ever since i tasted their burrito, i never had any other burrito rather than this ❤ really good ones aresteakand fries, kare-kare and chicken caesar salad 👌

buen comer surprisingly is one of the best tex-mex  restaurants i've tried in the ph. the flavors, sauces, and overall quality of dishes simply work. don't let the food truck appearance of their main kitchen bring you down and give them a try.
ordered: 1.) kare-kare burito - a must for kare-kare lovers, 2.) chicken quesadilla - contents were generous unlike other restaurants, 3.) nacho potato crisps - huge serving for the price, 4.)steakand rice pilaf - surprisingly very tender and good quality meat, 5.) mac and cheese wrap - you get what you expect from a mac and cheese dish, not a big fan since it's a carb + carb combo, 6.) wings + fries - forgot what type we ordered but the size and preparation for both wings and fries were good

another must-try resto for great, affordable food! met one of the owners during dinner. he entertained us, told us a bit about his restaurant’s history, and assisted us in choosing our food. all of his recommendations were great. he seemed very happy and passionate!

must-orders include the kare-kare burrito with bagnet (?), bagoong and chopped petchay, and thesteakwith rice pilaf. guaranteed to satisfy!

note however that they have short operating hours and only from wed. to sat.

the first time i tasted buen comer’s burrito was when my sister took home some for us. it was the kare kare burrito that i’ve tried and it was gloooooorious. fast forward to a few to-gos and a failed attempt (they’re closed on sundays!), i finally got to try dining in here at buen comer! the location is along the side streets of teachers village, but waze can definitely take you there. they have a wide range of food offerings. we tried the following: kare kare burrito, japanese chicken burrito,steakand fries burrito, nacho potato crisps, andsteakand rice.
my favorites would have to be the kare kare burrito, potato crisps and thesteak& rice! the burritos are big, and if you’re not that starving you can definitely share this with someone. i just wish they could offer a dine-in option and not serve the food in disposable wares. this way, they could present the food better!

great food! definitely a good value for money.

my boyfriend and i orderedsteakand fries wrap & japanese stlye chicken wrap on our first visit. the serving was so big that we felt full after eating just half of the wrap. 2 wraps would definitely serve 3-4 people if you're not that hungry. i particulary liked thesteakwhich was cooked medium rare (it was juicy amd tasty), the fries has a crunch in it, and the japanese style chicken wrap was filling.

on our second visit, we ordered kare kare burrito amd cheezy quesadilla. it was good too, but i liked the wraps that we had on our first visit.
