great service!!! the restaurant is like a hole-in-the-wall place. you won't notice it and it's not fancy at all. but the food and service are excellent! and that's what matters most. it's even way better than the other expensive and fancy mexican restaurants. they have a huge serving of the chicken burrito. i can't even finish half of it. the quesadillas, fries and nachos are all worth every penny!

thank you for the wonderful food experience. 😊

best.burrito.ever.

whenever friends ask me where's the best place to eat at maginhawa area, i point them to buen comer. i'd always get the kare-kare burrito with extra bagoong. it never failed to cheer me up. plus i get to use their garlic mayo, chili, and cilantro sauce which makes the experience perfect.

away from the maddening crowd of maginhawa and malingap streets, this joint tucked inside the teacher's village surely is "good eats". affordable, delicious and filling , every burrito fusion is an instant hit. but i suggest that you go on foot or probably ride a bike if you may, because parking is a dillema.

in this day and age, people will never run out of food options. here in manila, you will find a number of restaurants and even food stalls in the street offering a variety of dishes, that are actually easy on the pocket.

if you are into al fresco dining, you better check out buen comer in maginhawa street, quezon city. it's just a small stall surrounded by a couple of tables and chairs. "buen comer" is a spanish phrase which means "good eats." i'd have to say that buen comer definitely live up to its name. they indeed have good eats, as they gave a filipino twist to some mexican favorites, and prepped up everything in their own kitchen. buen comer made each dish their own specialty.

their kare kare burrito, for me, is their best dish in their menu. it has the potential of becoming a gem in their food place, but they have to tweak it a little. the peanut sauce in it was very overwhelming. the surprise lies in its flavorful bagnet, complemented with a savory layer of bagoong (fermented fish paste).

another burrito of theirs that we have tried is their chicken caesar wrap. it has crunchy fried chicken, that works well with the dressing. i would definitely recommend this as a good grab-and-go meal.

buen comer's peri peri chicken with dirty rice was wonderfully prepared. you can distinctly taste the various spices in their marinated meat, but in my opinion, they can actually make do with less seasoning.

this dish worked well with their garlic yogurt and cilantro dressing.

they have also upgraded the classic chicken quesadilla. underneath those perfectly grilled pitas are tasty chicken bits blended in with rich layers of cheese. you would finish wolfing this down within minutes.

let it be known that buen comer always comes up with new dishes on their menu. according to their chef, chef mico, they keep on updating their list of food choices every two weeks.

rating this restaurant more than 5 actually. did not know that fil-mex cuisine can be such bombs! i always order their kare kare burrito and peri peri chicken. i can say i have tried everything in their menu, and everything is just so good! plus, serving size wont disappoint you. food is prepared fresh right in front of you :)

always my go-to place for some mexican food with a twist.

went here around 9pm on a saturday, hungry and really curious since my friend did set my expectations really high. ordered chicken quesadillas, chicken burrito and kare kare burrito.

order came really fast, less than 5minutes. the chix ques, well, finished it in less than 5 minutes, it's soooo goood!! never a fan of quesadillas but i will definitely go back for this.

the kare kare burrito for me was flavourful but it would've been better if it had bagoong. kare kare will never be kare kare if it doesn't have its lifelong partner. or may maybe it had that i just didn't taste it? oh well.

the chicken burrito is your typical chicken burrito. nothing special.

the staff are super duper friendly! which is for me is a plus plus. they asked me if it was my first time and if we liked our dining experience. thank you guys will sure try the other dishes on your menu!

found this mexican place along mapagkawanggawa street and i felt amazed with its theme. dine in or take out, they serve good quick bites. they have wraps, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and soft tacos. we tried their chix quesadillas (3/5), taco spring roll (3/5), and longganisa soft taco with mango salsa (3/5). they gave me extra salsa and sauces without charge 😘 big servings that are good for 2 to 3 persons. they also have different chef's specials everyday 👍 food variety 5/5

a restaurant that is hidden from the whole maginhawa food street shebang. they offer one of the cheapest and authentic-tasting burritos in the area. don't be too intimidated to try their special kare-kare burrito. you really have to try it along with their cilantro and garlic sauces. my wife and i usually buy a burrito and a quesadilla together with 2 small coke bottles. total? p260. follow their facebook page for updates on their secret menu. the cajun wings and fries are so good for only p188!

hefty serving of kare-kare burrito but it may help if they add a bit more meat to it. nonetheless, it was flavorful and the meat is tender.

tried their mac n' cheese burrito too. it was good and flavorful as well with chicken bits to it to add flavor. both dishes we're fulfilling.

would recommend to friends and would come back, too.
