looked up "best breakfast in memphis" on google and this pops up. thewaittime was over 1hr20mins but we waited b/c of the rave reviews. the food was ok but not worth the hype. i had the desparodo open face omelette w/ cheese grits (bland :-/) & my bf had pancakes, eggs, & salmon. it was diffinetely different but nothing worth waiting for. your not missing out if you haven't been. oh & my omelette was covered in black beans & the egg was so thin that i barely tasted it only beans.

a must-try in memphis. my husband and i are memphians from birth, but never tried brother juniper's until our anniversary. it was a great experience! come prepared for a wait, because just as the other reviews have said there will definitely be a wait, but make sure towaitinside where you can see the paintings from local artists, etc. very unique artsy atmosphere!

i ordered the "p1" potato dish; a dish of home-fries, black beans, swiss, tomatoes, green onion, salsa, and sour cream. it was delicious, but my order was prepared incorrectly (i asked for no cheese and cheese was included). the staff offered to bring me another, though, and were super nice and polite!

my husband ordered a caffe au lait and the #6 breakfast special which came with salmon/creme cheese scrambled eggs, toast, and home fries.

the food comes out quickly, the staff are very helpful and accommodating, and it had the feeling of a breakfast at home with family. reasonably priced as well! i definitely recommend to any visitors to the area!

i checked that i do not like this place because it comes closer to how i feel. but, this place is not bad. however, it is overrated. i just will not go back. it is not good enough to drive in from the surburbs andwait30 minutes for a table. i like the ambiance, and the server was very friendly. i had the san diego omelet. the bacon on top was burned or scorched. and, the entire omelet was luke warm at best. the cheese grits were the worst i have ever had. it is my second visit here, and they serve a decent breakfast, but it is not good enough to call it. "special". i would have been just as happy or more so at the ihop.

best place for brunch in uptown. gyros sandwiches are my favorite. the only downside is you can't make a prior reservation for a party of two and thewaitcould be around 20-30 mins

one of our favorite places in memphis. well worth thewaiton a sunday morning. kids love the chocolate chip pancakes, the san diegan and the juniper benedict are great! by far my favorite are the lattes which is saying a lot for this picky coffee snob. definitely need a to go cup. highly recommend as a breakfast stop if you're in the memphis area.

this place always seems to be busy, so i stopped in on a saturday. thewaitwas over an hour and on top that i had to stand for most of it. my service was mediocre, and my waiter seemed some what distracted by other employee's/ phone. i had the pacific northwest which was good, but the portobello's seemed kind of mushy/greasy and my homefries weren't fresh. my boyfriend had a waffle which he said was ok, but he raved about the bacon. i don't feel like i wasted my money, but this place is highly overrated in my opinion. i would like to try it out again, just on a slower business day.

best breakfast. order anything off the menu and it's going to be good. love the home fries! get there early on the weekend or expect towaitfor a little while in line. and yes it is worth waiting for just dont expect to get there and get a table right away because it is the best breakfast place in memphis and everyone knows it! also the people who work there are very pleasant.

words are not appropriate, as nothing can put into words the gastronomical delight one receives from bro junipers ! of course be prepared towaitat least an hr for a table. don't forget to try the strain bread! only problem i have is that the hash brown potatoes were recently changed and they are now bigger "chunks". but i'll deal with it happily. gotta go time to eat!

i come here every once and a while. i always like the food but i rarely find it worth the interminably long wait. this time we planned ahead and made reservations, and we still had towait30 minutes for our table. all the while, several tables our size had been called ahead of us. this makes me believe there is some basic misunderstanding here about what a reservation is and its intended purpose. the food here is great but now with better breakfast options (eclectic, trolley stop market) i'm consistently surprised that people will wait. i won't, even if the food is good (which it is).

delicious!. two friends were visiting me from out of town so i suggested we meet at brother juniper's for brunch. i am a native memphis but it was my first time trying it as well. we got there at 11:30 but didn't get seated until 12:45. although it was very busy, sitting at the coffee counter made the time go by quickly. once we were finally seated the service was pretty good. i ordered the desperado, one friend ordered pancakes and eggs, the other friend ordered the garden and the lamb omelet. everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. i can'twaitto go back; there are many things on the menu i would like to try.

we are always pleased here. every open-face omelet is a new delicious experience. yes, you maywaita bit to be seated on weekends, but with free coffee, good local art to enjoy, and welcoming faces, who cares? if you want fast food, go to a chain.
