love this place!. while visiting memphis over memorial day weekend, wound up at this place near the university. what a great breakfast place! staff, food, atmosphere, everything about it was fantastic. gets busy quick, but there is a very convenient waiting area with acoffeebar. went there for three of the four breakfasts -do not miss this place.

had a wonderful breakfast! decided on gravy benedict and the cinnamon roll pancakes! the benedict was biscuits and gravy with a twist! delicious and the pancakes were fluffy with a generous dose of cinnamon and light glaze. greatcoffeeand service too.

one of our favorite places in memphis. well worth the wait on a sunday morning. kids love the chocolate chip pancakes, the san diegan and the juniper benedict are great! by far my favorite are the lattes which is saying a lot for this pickycoffeesnob. definitely need a to go cup. highly recommend as a breakfast stop if you're in the memphis area.

the food is great as expected but they need to really work on their decafcoffeeselection. i was told i couldn't get a decaf espresso drink because they use "pods." whatever... i've seen decaf pods, but why are you guys using pods anyhow? the decaf drip that i got was below average tasting and had something green floating in it. and my server never offered a refill.

when checking out they were having problems at the register with their credit card machine so it took over 10 minutes. they didn't seem to know how to troubleshoot or handle it very well. in addition, the parking lot is a nightmare of potholes, some holding mini lakes if it's been raining.

again, the food is great, but if you're a decaf drinker and driving in, then consider this and encourage them to make changes.

it's worth the wait.. if it's sunday and you have a few hours to kill, you could do worse than to spend them at brother junipers. be prepared for a wait, but if you get somecoffeeat the bar and hang out in the very pretty garden out front it goes by quickly (you can also walk around and they'll text you when your table is ready). the special gyro is amazing. fluffy soft pita bread (second only to kwik chek), piping hot spinach and gyro meat, and the skillet top potatoes are just the right amount of greasy and crisp. (i've heard the omelettes are wonderful, but i'm not much of an egg person so i can't confirm.) they also have a fantastic line of house made hot sauces (habanero is a+) that you can buy at check out. it's a liiittle more expensive than you'd expect, but i think it's worth it.

if i lived in a fantasy land i would sit at thecoffeebar and drink juniper lattes all day long and see which unique thrift store find mug i would receive next. the food is decent. i like rachel ray's pick i cant remember what it is... but they should really consider extending their hours and having lunch options as well.

best in memphis!. hands down....best breakfast in memphis. i am sure i am not alone in making this proclaimation. crowded but cozy atmosphere--i think this is what you want in a good breakfast joint (if it is empty you should be worried). i wouldn't go there just forcoffeebut the food makes up for the average coffee. good prices/good service. they have cool branded mugs if you are a collector.

delicious!. two friends were visiting me from out of town so i suggested we meet at brother juniper's for brunch. i am a native memphis but it was my first time trying it as well. we got there at 11:30 but didn't get seated until 12:45. although it was very busy, sitting at thecoffeecounter made the time go by quickly. once we were finally seated the service was pretty good. i ordered the desperado, one friend ordered pancakes and eggs, the other friend ordered the garden and the lamb omelet. everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. i can't wait to go back; there are many things on the menu i would like to try.

always worth it. reliably delicious and thus reliably crowded. the art is a nice bonus, as is thecoffeewhile you wait. the monte cristo is so, so good, as are the breakfast potatoes, and just about everything else.

great food. brother juniper's is a fantastic restaurant. the food is interesting and creative but always delicious. it also heavily caters to vegeterians. theircoffeeis wonderful. also, they have delicious homemade jellies and jams... mmm! the only problem i have ever had is the service... it's not always 100%.
