perfect. friendly staff, and the san diegan was great. good coffee and biscuits, and i could sit and enjoy myself, with families and singles all around. worth a wait.

love this place!. while visiting memphis over memorial day weekend, wound up at this place near the university. what a great breakfast place! staff, food, atmosphere, everything about it was fantastic. gets busy quick, but there is a very convenient waiting area with a coffee bar. went there for three of the four breakfasts -do not miss this place.

looked up "best breakfast in memphis" on google and this pops up. the wait time was over 1hr20mins but we waited b/c of the rave reviews. the food was ok but not worth the hype. i had the desparodo open face omelette w/ cheese grits (bland :-/) & my bf had pancakes, eggs, & salmon. it was diffinetely different but nothing worth waiting for. your not missing out if you haven't been. oh & my omelette was covered in black beans & the egg was so thin that i barely tasted it only beans.

a must-try in memphis. my husband and i are memphians from birth, but never tried brother juniper's until our anniversary. it was a great experience! come prepared for a wait, because just as the other reviews have said there will definitely be a wait, but make sure to wait inside where you can see the paintings from local artists, etc. very unique artsy atmosphere!

i ordered the "p1" potato dish; a dish of home-fries, black beans, swiss, tomatoes, green onion, salsa, and sour cream. it was delicious, but my order was prepared incorrectly (i asked for no cheese and cheese was included). the staff offered to bring me another, though, and were super nice and polite!

my husband ordered a caffe au lait and the #6 breakfast special which came with salmon/creme cheese scrambled eggs, toast, and home fries.

the food comes out quickly, the staff are very helpful and accommodating, and it had the feeling of a breakfast at home with family. reasonably priced as well! i definitely recommend to any visitors to the area!

i checked that i do not like this place because it comes closer to how i feel. but, this place is not bad. however, it is overrated. i just will not go back. it is not good enough to drive in from the surburbs and wait 30 minutes for a table. i like the ambiance, and the server was very friendly. i had the san diego omelet. the bacon on top was burned or scorched. and, the entire omelet was luke warm at best. the cheese grits were the worst i have ever had. it is my second visit here, and they serve a decent breakfast, but it is not good enough to call it. "special". i would have been just as happy or more so at the ihop.

this place was really good! i had the garden of the lamb omelet, cheese grits, bacon, and a biscuit. all of it was so good and i'm pretty sure i could eat the cheese grits all day every day!

the one thing i should mention that we enjoyed in memphis that was not bbq was this wonderful restaurant called brother juniper. this little gem is hidden away but worth the find. they had a fantastic omelet that bill was crazy for with jalapenos and chorizo. i had greek omelet with a beautiful salty feta and spinach that was just fantastic.

onward to griddles, suffice it to say that pancakes at brother juniper’s are of the dense and doughy variety that are more likely to fill one up than to truly impress the palate, and although the pure maple syrup at no extra cost was a welcome addition the skimpy application of blueberries was quite disappointing...

best breakfast in memphis. my saturdays start with a greek omelet with home fries and a biscuit, and copious amounts of coffee. the koplins are fantastic and the employees are some of the best in memphis. oh, and if you see breakfast mac and cheese on the special board, you order it and thank me later.
