best place for brunch in uptown. gyros sandwiches are my favorite. the only downside is you can't make a prior reservation for a party of two and the wait could be around 20-30 mins

food was outstanding! i got the san diegan open faced omelette as pictured. we had to wait about 30-40 mins but it was worth it! it was packed out so if you are wanting to eat here i would recommend getting there early. if you are in memphis you definitely have to go here!

i got the number 5 scrambled eggs with onions, peppers,tomatoes and mozzarella and meat. cheese grits,biscuit! the food was delicious not spicy. i added sour cream and salsa to my eggs, got a side of gravy for my biscuit although the jam they provided was way better!
the service was wonderful, you definitely go for the delicious, generous portions of yummy breakfast and the atmosphere is super positive!

i've been hearing about brother juniper's for years. i've even seen that famous rachael ray episode twice. so why has it taken me so long to go there?? timing i suppose. recently my wife and i ran a 5k for the junior league of memphis. it was just right down the road and it was early. i had secretly planned on going there the minute we signed up for the 5k. after we finished she asked where we were going to eat. without pause i told her about this great little place that has the best breakfast in memphis. she was down.

me and my roommates went to have brunch and we realised, it's the best breakfast place in memphis. they have so many good options for vegetarians as well. 😍

i've been in memphis 13 years and finally came to this local mecca of breakfast.

i am very basic for breakfast so french toast and bacon was my meal but my wife had the meat and egg platter and the number 2. everything looked amazing my food and the biscuit, potatoes and sausage i ate from other places were absolutely great.

i now know why there is always a line.

had a wonderful breakfast! decided on gravy benedict and the cinnamon roll pancakes! the benedict was biscuits and gravy with a twist! delicious and the pancakes were fluffy with a generous dose of cinnamon and light glaze. great coffee and service too.

one of our favorite places in memphis. well worth the wait on a sunday morning. kids love the chocolate chip pancakes, the san diegan and the juniper benedict are great! by far my favorite are the lattes which is saying a lot for this picky coffee snob. definitely need a to go cup. highly recommend as a breakfast stop if you're in the memphis area.

the food is great as expected but they need to really work on their decaf coffee selection. i was told i couldn't get a decaf espresso drink because they use "pods." whatever... i've seen decaf pods, but why are you guys using pods anyhow? the decaf drip that i got was below average tasting and had something green floating in it. and my server never offered a refill. 

when checking out they were having problems at the register with their credit card machine so it took over 10 minutes. they didn't seem to know how to troubleshoot or handle it very well. in addition, the parking lot is a nightmare of potholes, some holding mini lakes if it's been raining. 

again, the food is great, but if you're a decaf drinker and driving in, then consider this and encourage them to make changes.

best breakfast in memphis!!!!! everything is delicious. omlets, house fries, bisquits, waffle pancakes. you wont be disappointed.
its always worth the wait.

good food and service. a memphis tradition. if you go, anything on the menu will satisfy. always packed but hit the bar seating. and say hi to the owner while you are at it.

the food was great, and is always top of my list for breakfast. unfortunately every time i am in there i see hundreds of plastic containers, soda cans, etc. go straight into the trash can, no recycling in sight. its disappointing and took my review from a perfect 5 to a 2.

vegan and vegetarian friendly. outstanding. their sausage tofu scramble rivals my own and i'm a little bit mad about that. service was friendly and prompt, despite there having been a party of 30 ahead of us. we'll definitely be back.

pleasantly surprised. who would have thought that such a great place hidden away in such a busy area would be found by adventure seekers ready to try the talked about spot. we were not disappointed. with a variety of food ordered the omelet was delicious. if you can be the crowd especially during football season, you are in for a treat.

try it for yourself. don't listen to anyone, just try brother juniper's for yourself. i had my first visit and the omelets was better than great. at this point i start to spread the word, not that they need it, the place is always packed. however, after the fact and me and some others were talking about the food and how good it was, the negative individual who only order bacon, eggs, and toast wanted to give negative comments based on price. we quickly shut her down and told her if that is all you going to order and you think it is to much you need to choose another place to eat because the food is good and the price is right for what i order. me and my crew shall return. happy eating

best breakfast. great complimentary coffee at the coffee bar if there's ever a wait, wonderful service and food. recommended many times!
