not worth the money. was out with my wifeand daughter. pleasant scenery and sitting environment. how ever, service was a disappointment. it took a minute to get greated at the front door because there was no one at the hostess counter. we were seated with no silverware and didn't receive any until our food was brought to the table 45 minutes later. server had little experience, and seemed to rush away any chance he got. i had to call him back to place an order for a appetizer. we got our drinks, i had a sweet tea, the wife had a glass of pinot grigio. we finished our drink shortly before or food arrived and got no refills. also no water as well. i had to ask the server 3 times for a refill of my sweet tea, and the third time i asked for it in a to-go cup, because we had already paid or check. my daughter is 2 years old and we ordered hechickentenders. the food arrived on a scolding hot plate that the server just place right in front of our daughter. which we immediately removed from her reach. my wife had the shrimp and lobster fettucini and i had the veal marsala classico. my dish i felt was very bland, nothing special but not bad, i think mine sat on a warmer for a little while. my wife said her dish was out standing, she enjoyed her dish very much. our appetizer was ok, we had the garlic roasted spinach artichoke dip. would have been a little better with eating utensils. overall it was not a great experience. we actually felt bad for the server. i don't think he knew what he was doing. if he did, he got the message when he saw his tip.

the carpaccio dish is one of my favs ever. no other comes close & i've had it in italy. also their crusted lamb chops are very good. atmosphere is nice, relaxed but cheerful. today tried their spicychickenpanini. it was good & huge! fries were crispy. they have temporary scratch off coupons. i used my brio's passport & got $5 off. it's always nice to visit here. a real special brio branch.

nice enough!. went for sunday lunch as part of a group of 12, with a reservation. we were seated immediately, and served well. everyone was satisfied with their food--i had the bistecca salad and mezzo lasagna, both were nice. wife had achickendish from their gluten-free specialty menu, which she really enjoyed. quite a variety of dishes around the table, everyone seemed satisfied--menu was heavy on chicken, which i don't eat, but all seemed to like the different preparations. i wouldn't make the drive for just the two of us, but they handled the large group very well--server was very pleasant and very patient.

meh. the food is consistantly mediocre, however the offerings for their happy hour specials seem fresher. small offerings are available in the bar only, for $4, during posted happy hour times. all in all, brio is olive garden food with maggianos prices. the pasta, cocktails, salads, calamari andchickendishes that i've ordered over the years have just been, "ok".

best chain restaurant around. although, i normally do not write reviews on chain restaurants, i will have to give brio a nod. we have been there several times and the food is always exceptional. the staff is one of the most friendly and professional of any restaurant in richmond. thechickenfra diavolo and the crab and shrimp cakes are amazing. the lobster bisque was delicious and served hot the way bisque is supposed to be served. we look forward to our next visit.

excellent chain restaurant. we have eaten here for years and have consistently good food and service throughout. we especially recommend thechickenunder the brick and rosemary bistecca. as richmond has very few good lunch spots, we highly recommend brio for a midday meal.
