small yet cozy restaurant located at church street. you need to be early to get a table here, brunch time would be ideal. the staff seemed a bit unwelcoming and didn't have patience to take order.

the cheesegarlicbread was fresh, cheesy and tasty. however it is thin, it would have been more filling if it was a bit more thick. i can probably finish two of them and still feel hungry.

the pizzas are an experience in themselves. the og pizza with pepperoni topping was very delicious. the bacon was crispy and not overly salty.

shrooms pizza was good however i feel the prosciutto comes in a bit too strong. so i'd recommend the veg version of this.

visited this much hyped place which is famous for its neapolitan pizzas. we ordered the bird in hand pizza and wasn't very impressed. i have had better neapolitan pizza. we also ordered their famousgarlicbread, which was yum. in desserts we had the mini freak shake and lemon cheesecake, both of them were immensely satisfying and delicious. would surely visit again and explore more options, especially their pizzas. i hope i enjoy it next time. cheers 🥂

hands down the best place in bengaluru for a pizza. this place serves options of pizzas that taste like the pizzas in naples, italy. they have a variety of options for vegetarians and a lot of options in pork/ham. the crust is light and crispy. the ingredients are of a supreme quality and always fresh. i have been to this several times with my friends and i have never been disappointed. pepperoni is my favourite pizza here. they have really goodgarlicbread, waffles and my friends also liked the shakes a lot. recommended pizzas : redcotta, smokey marzano, pepperoni, popeye and olive oil. (i am certain that the other ones are amazing as well )
here are some pictures for all you pizza lovers like me 😊

we had a margherita pizza here and loved it, the crust, the cheese, the charred wood fire oven taste. also really enjoyed the cheesygarlicbread.

it's a small place but if you manage to get a table it is totally worth it.

as i was in namma ooru for a short trip, i had decided to meet my friends - who are major foodies and food bloggers - for lunch on a sunny and jam packed saturday afternoon.  after giving them a list of my favorite cuisines, they suggested a few places for me to choose from.  we finally decided to visit brik oven on church street.  it is a very small place compared to their other outlets in the city.  the seating area yields about 6 tables and the kitchen - especially the wood fire oven - could be seen clearly from where we were seated.  there is no physical menu, but a qr code which we can scan on our mobile to see a list of the items.  my friends told me that the menu is not as vast as the one in their other outlets.

there is also a chalkboard on the wall where they write the list of the 'specials' for the day.  after browsing through the menu, we finally decided to order: -

beverages:

1.  brik oven lemonade - this beverage is their in house special.  the lemonade was sweet and perfect for the hot bengaluru weather.

2.  lemon iced tea - no matter where i go, my favorite beverage is iced tea. given a choice between soft drinks and iced tea, i would rather order the latter. the nice thing about this iced tea was that it was extremely sweet and did not need to add any extra sugar.  it was served in a tall glass, so the quantity was perfect for my tastebuds.

3.  the hangover shake - the name says it all!  once you drink this, you will feel like you are intoxicated because the shake is so filling.  the list of ingredients will make you feel dizzy.  it contained granola, banana, strawberries, ice cream and whipped cream.  this shake would be better off as a dessert than as a beverage.  my friend said it was a tall glass of sweetness overloaded.

appetizer:

1. garlicbread with cheese -  cheese is an ingredient we all love, so what better appetizer to order than two plates of the ooey gooey goodness.  actually, it looked more like breadsticks than bread.  one portion is sufficient for two people.  the breadsticks were neatly arranged on a wooden tray.  the right proportion of olive oil, garlic, butter and cheese made this dish an extremely delicious one.  it was so soft that the pieces just melted in our mouth.

main course:

1.  anna goes vegan - as my friend and i are vegetarians, we ordered this particular pizza.  just by reading the description, my mouth started to water.  the toppings included:  san marzano sauce, red onions, red bell peppers, jalapeno, vegan mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, garlicand vegan feta.  i have never tried a vegan pizza before but must say it was flavorsome.  the base was not too thin nor thick, the toppings were crispy and fresh and the vegan feta was dripping here and there since it was so bubbly.  i would definitely recommend this pizza.

2.  smoked chicken - n - mushroom pizza - out of the three of us, only one was a non vegetarian, so he ordered one pizza just for himself.  the remaining pieces were packed so he could enjoy it after going home.  this pizza comprised of smoked chicken, roasted mushrooms, caramelised onion, red chilligarlicand basil with a tomato sauce base topped with mozzarella.  the smokey flavor was circulating all around us.   just like in the vegan pizza, the toppings in this one were also garden fresh and crunchy.

my friends have eaten in brik oven's outlets before, so they were aware of the quality and quantity of the food.  the ambiance was pleasant and the service was quick in spite of all tables being occupied.

speaking about tables, i wish they were a little bigger because if you order a lot of items, it is difficult to arrange them, the plates and glasses.

the only negative point of the afternoon was that of the manager's behavior.  as my friends are food bloggers, they were keen on taking photos of all the dishes.  however when the manager saw this, he told my friend, in a very rude tone, to sit down.  never ever have i seen this type of attitude by a manager when their customers are actually trying to promote their business.   we felt extremely insulted but somehow managed to enjoy our meal as the food looked so yummy and we were equally hungry.

if you are heading on church street and feel like gorging on wood fire pizzas, then do drop into brik oven for a wholesome and appetizing meal with your friends and loved ones.

heard a lot about food at brik oven and hence visited their church street outlet for a weekend lunch with friends.

though the outlet is small and compact, the ambience is good and food was awesome.

we ordered:
✓ smoked chicken & mushroom pizza
✓ anna goes vegan pizza
✓ cheesegarlicbread
✓ hangover monster
✓ brik oven lemonade
✓ iced tea

both the pizzas came with generous toppings. the surprising part was that the pizza base was too soft that we had to hold with both hands to have the toppings and pizza slice together.

loved the brik oven lemonade such that felt like reordering it. hangover monster was great but slightly heavy on stomach due to mix of fruits. iced tea was also nice.

overall had a good experience, could have been great had the manager behaved properly. i, being a food blogger, was taking pictures of the food (without disturbing others) to promote it on my food page even though i was paying for the food (they could have got free promotion) but he rudely asked me to sit down and stop.

would suggest everyone to skip this outlet as ours is not the only case. similar complaint about the manager had happened with others too. check other dining reviews of this outlet.

visited this branch on weekend lunch. it's a very small outlet . we went with friends. we triedgarlicbread and anna goes vegan pizza and drinks we had cookie monster and lemonade( brikoven) and ice tea. all the items very good and fresh. the chef and other staff of kitchen is doing excellent job. i am giving 5 star rating for food inspite the manager of church street branch was extremely rude. we were taking pics to spread the word with our friends and that too paying for food means free promotion. i recommend other branches of brik oven not this church street one only for manager food was very good.

so this was my first time eating pizza that wasn't from one of the major fast food businesses. i was a bit skeptical about taking risk and spending more-than-usual amount but this place came so highly recommended that i had to splurge. and i did not regret taking the chance.

i ordered their marinara pizza which had san marzano tomato, parmesan, sea salt, oregano, olives, arugula, garlic& extra virgin oil. i had customized it so that it was topped with fresh mozzarella and no olives. they have so much customization option for each category of user.

the crust was a bit dry but the extra virgin oil compensated for it. the sauce was tasty and one could taste all the elements of topping. the regular size was sufficient for one. all in all, i would recommend this place for an appetizing pizza.

masterpiece of simplicity. this actually shows how they are good at making splendid pizza! the taste of the marinara sauce is great and matches with the oregano andgarlicon top. the olives make a nice accent on the flavor. my recommendation is to add onions for some nature-made bitterness as a spice.

been here last night for dinner and ordered big bank shake , cheesegarlicbread and margaerita pizza. just perfect it was. taste , quality and service was top notch. but pricey for the portion size and 10% service charge was a tad shocking. but overall worth the hype. seating is poor and inadequate though.

the pizza ,garlicbread , cookie shake was really upto the mark .

the only thing is that the service charge !!.
it was no where mentioned on the menu & also post which we give tip as well ... & it doesn't look sophisticated at the time of payment to argue or ask 😊

i don't get the hype about this place? we ordered cheesegarlicbread and a margherita pizza. thegarlicbread was so bland. me and my friend were trying to find ways to make it taste better by adding chilli flakes, seasoning, ketchup, but nothing worked.
pizza was okay, i wouldn't recommend this to anyone. it was paper thin, sort of bland too.
i had been wanting to visit brik oven because of all the good reviews and hype but i was utterly disappointed.

we ordered pizza andgarlicbread and both were very bad in taste. it was too dry and bland.

cheese dip was manageable.
very very limited options. in short it ruined our lunch and wasted our time and money.
