not that special of a place. obvious the business model is to staff w/some attractive young ladies. that value doesn't do much. both times i have been here, the food has been good, but really nothing special. good place to hang out w/friends, have a goodtimeand relax. at the end of the day, it is good, but far from anything better. not worth going out of your way for.

happy hour hot spot. visited here with the husband. it was happy hour so the beer was cold delicious and on sale and appetizers were $5 each so we got a couple of those instead of full meals. fried zucchini was awesome. we will definitely be back.
went a secondtimewith a large party of family type crowd. merideth was not as good when they were a bit busier, but food was again delicious. some reviews say salty and i agree but i am a fan or salty food. tavern is in the name and it is bar food but better. the hubs went with some co-workers and said the chicken and waffles is awesome and so big another guy in his party had to finish it for him.

great atmosphere, horrible service all around, mediocre food. don't waste yourtimeand money. go to the hoppy monk across the street. run!

poor service. i've been to this pub 6 or 7 times and the service was equally poor every time. at first i thought it was because they were new and just needed a littletimeto get staff organized and their routine established. i was wrong. if you decide to sit at the bar you can expect to be ignored for at least the first 15 minutes before you are acknowledged. watching what goes on behind the bar you can see lack of organization. no one bartender just tends to the bar. the bar is where regulars like to sit. you won't keep regulars if you ignore them. the food is pretty good. but eventually even good food cannot overcome bad service.

service and food is good. i had the crab cake burger. wife had the blue cheese burger. but for a sports bar type place the beer isn't cold. i'll give it a month before i go back. if the beer isn't cold. it'll be the lasttimei go.
