brick house tavern + tap

so disappointed.. my co-worker told me about brick house tavern, and raved howgreatit was. so i decided to go for mother's day and i was very excited to try the food. we got there early to beat the crowd. lola was our waitress and was horrible. she forgot our appitizer, never gave us refills on our drinks and was rude. we were one of the first tables there and everyone else got thier food before us. my mother in-laws crab cake sandwich was cold and my baked chicken was so raw. i talked to the manager and she gave me a menu for a free desert but never came back to the table to see if we needed anything else. i'm so disappointed. i've had bad service before, but this was ridiculous.

2nd best sports bar in stone oak...worth the trip!. i rank bht&t at 2nd overall for sports bars in the stone oak area, just behind cover three. ambiance is warm, clean, and inviting with a humongo fireplace. despite being 175 in the middle of summer in south central tejas, that bad boy was lit up and looked good. lots of hdtvs with good views. open air seating outside. hostess offered us a booth, table, or....sofa (wtf?). we opted for a table. staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. menu is quite varied. we went for 4 snacks. the 2 that our server recommended were excellent: sweet & spicy tails and duck wings. we avoided the fried stuffed olives, per the server. spike calamari and white meat chicken bites were...okay.greatassortment of draft beers. we noticed the beer bongs, but passed on that college antic. overall: very good. recommended. will return.

nice twist on everyday meals. i had the fried chicken sandwich, very juicy with a little touch of spice. my wife had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup, both were awesome meals and not overly pricey, with very good service and wait staff,greatjob,we will be back!

we went with a large party and called ahead. food wasgreatand service was also great. would recommend to anyone. highly recommend pizza and the chicken and waffles.

need more parking space. do not park across krispy creme, they will tow your vehicle. people are sitting out there watching when you park and will tow as soon as you walk across to brick house.

i am very upset with this place. i talked it up so much to my family and friends. i got let down so incredibly bad yesterday. i was so embarrassed by the horrendous service. i felt very bad for bring my party there. the food was cold. the waitress wasn't very attentive. table was not cleaned after we finished our food, drinks were never refilled, never got offered dessert. just horrible service. i will not be back here again. i do not think this place will last very long. unless people like bad service. it's just saddens me how from one day the service isgreatto the next it's horrible. hope you hire better servers and managers. thanks for the discount we did not get.

come for the bar, don't bother with the food. worst burger i have ever had and cost $9.00! my husband did not get what he ordered but he didn't want to complain. the waitress wasgreatat blaming the slow service on the kitchen but offered up too many pathetic apologies. did not pay for the burger and had to listen to the manager make even more excuses. his place has to get it together!!!
