definitely a little over hyped. great place if you're looking for a sweetish french breakfast. self service and getting a seat is a struggle on weekends.

absolute shit place! amazingly overhyped.
also, not sure what their stance is on vegan-ism. they don't use milk but they use cheese & eggs.

go once if you want to have a thankless experience for your taste-buds. multiple other locations nearby serving much more better food.

not a single reason one should ever re-visit.

a perfect example of how one should/could make a mistake once but now twice.

a must visit cafe. good food, good portion and beautiful plating. loved the vibe. the pancakes were too good

we went a little late here for breakfast and all the vegan and eggless items were sold off. had an apple pie and cold chocolate overload and a coffee. food was good.

went inside thinking that this would be one of those overhyped places but it didn’t disappoint even a bit.
a proper brunch place this as the sandwiches were quite filling. the taste and flavours were different from anywhere else. summertime tartine was quite a surprise.
the desserts were also great.
also, there’s ample parking space available just opposite to the cafe.
the only downside is that a few items on the menu were unavailable and there’s a queue to place your order.
the menu here needs to be updated though.
must try : bombay sandwich, mushroom quiche, apple tart

i've never tried vegan-anything, but ever since i heard about this place from the locals of pondicherry, i thought i must give it a try. it's vegan friendly, not completely vegan (not to worry, my fellow meat eaters).

one whiff of the aroma of coffee and baked goodies wafting through the air is enough to trigger an appetite!

chocolate tarts and apple pies. to die for. they look so good- you just can't take your eyes off them; neither can you stop munching on them . smoothies and toasts are what they're known for.
you must try their beverages, ranging from vegan hot chocolate and fresh roasted blends of indian coffee to healthy concoctions.

they also sell organic chocolate bars, cacao powder, and coffee blends.

food that fills your tummy and keeps you high spirited, because it doesn't weigh you down.

amazing awsum authentic organic are words to describe this place....really good food with great taste served and prepared in their own style.
love the vibes here....slightly overpriced but worth to give a shot.

this is a must must must visit place in auroville!!! a very cozy ambience and friendly staff. the cookies and bakes melt in your mouth, all using the home grown mason and co. chocolates! coffee was perfect too. this is one of those rare cafes where everything just falls on place perfectly 😍

a small cafe with inside & outside sitting arrangements.. mainly crowded by foreigners..
as the shop name suggest varieties of chocolates are available..
i mainly tried item like crossient & chocolate tart..
crossient was supper its very soft & its melting in mouth..
coming to chocolate tart.. fully loaded with chocolate, walnuts & chocochips.. chocolate has a unique flavor.. perfect sweetness.. not so sweet..
coffee was good 👌 flavor & aroma was awesome..
some people may fill little expensive... but it's worth..
must try place in auroville, pondicherry..

perfect place for a breakfast. take a ride to auroville and you will find this amazing eatery. from ambience to hospitality and food, everything was excellent.

i got a chance to taste their chocolate tart loaded with cocoa and walnut. it was too yummy and perfect. i then ordered a bananarama which was basically a sour dough bread loaded with banana slices and served with a bowl of honey.

their croissants are to die for. they are in high demand and i would highly recommend you to step in early to taste them. we had a plain croissant and it was yummilicious.

if you take a ride through auroville, never miss this place. will be visiting them again for sure.

this place is a must visit if you are in pondicherry for a yummy breakfast. i got to know about this place from a youtube travel video and the first thing i wanted to visit was bread & chocolate.the ambience is amazing,we ordered a tropical smoothie bowl and the taste is still lingering.it was something i never had before and would love to have it everyday. i wish to visit pondicherry only to eat the smoothie bowl.the staff here is very friendly loved interacting with them.the menu has a wonderful options to suit your tastes.bread & chocolate rocks!!!

on your way to auroville, stop by this pretty little cafe which serves some delicious bakes, sandwiches and coffee!
i ordered -
cold coffee - made with coconut milk, it tastes a bit different initially, but you'll start liking the taste after 2-3 sips.
chilled and strong, this is the perfect drink to beat the pondy heat! also they serve it with a steel straw which makes it all the more interesting.

the green thumb focaccia sandwich - freshly baked focaccia and my favorite greens toasted together with a caramelized onion, peppers and pickle salad on the side. absolutely delicious... this is a meal in itself!

giant chocolate chip cookie - this was the show stopper. this giant, gooey, melt in mouth chocolate chip cookie with a sprinkle of sea salt took my heart away! a must try ❤️

definitely coming back!

located deep in the heart of auroville, this place serves authentic french cuisine mainly.
they have both indoor and outdoor seating and the place is filled with greenery all around. though a bit warm on summer, this place is a definite must try! the granola is absolutely scrumptious and yummmm! the cheese please is filled with pockets of cheese drowned in pesto and is a treat to the palate. but as i’m accustomed much to south indian flavaours, it took me a while to understand the concepts of french food!
the everyday freshly baked section looks invigorating!
the carrot apple juice saved my head from the tortuous summer !
pricing is approx 500 for 2 people.
overall, a must go if you’re around the auroville area !!!

i just cannot believe that how did i leave this place without reviewing.. one place that i enjoyed soo much in pondy.

i loved every bit of this place.
love the vibe, love the ambience and ofcourse love their foood 😭😋😋😋

i am missing so much of this place and their pesto nd poached egg salad with quinoa 😋😋😭😭 nd my vegen hot cocoa. best breakfast i had in a loong time . and because of them i became an addict for fresh coconut milk coffee and hot cocoa .

and i love how they use only reusable utensils even their stainless steel straw 😋😋😋😋😋

absolutely loved the affogato and rosti & eggs! lovely place to spend the morning at. the bakery items looked delectable, can’t wait to try them next time around.
