simplicity at its best. omg today was just so so awesome. idli vada andcoffeethat's all you need to reach heaven and back 😂.

this outlet proves why legends are legends. just 5-6 items on menu and que of 10-15 people at billing and another 50-60 standing outside releshing the taste of awsomeeeeeeee food.

loved it to the core. vada was crisp like sashi tharoor english and idli was soft like alia bhatt moves andcoffeeas authentic as old delhi's streets.

worth visiting, will recommend to everyone.

brahminscoffeebar is one of the few ~5 rated places in bangalore. is is a small corner place in basavanagudi which is the cause of traffic jam in the area ;).

there is board or hoarding which guides you, but you can keep a watch on the sound of tea glasses jingle - that'll lead you to brahminscoffeebar

here acoffeecosts 16 rs & its an art preparing that coffee. i have tried idly & kesari bath as well. idly is very soft & amazing with the spicy chutney they pour on it. one best thing is that you get plenty of chutney here as there is one guy sitting in one corner only to serve chutney and he is super busy always. they do not serve sambar. kesari bath is not very sweet & not oily too. its cooked to the perfection with right amount of sweetness & spices.

there are only limited items on the menu - idly, vada, kesari bath, khara bath, tea/coffee/ milk - & thats it.

the place is always crowded, but you do not feel that as there are no chairs & very limited no of tables to stand & eat. so people grab their items, eat silently & leave.

this is a must try place if you happen to visit this area. it is 500m away from national college metro station.

this place has been serving the best idli, vada, kharabath andcoffeefor ever!
the taste is amazing and the service is super quick.
the quality is great and the quantity is not questionable for the price.
they also have this counter separate from the usual counter for additional chutney for reasons and it serves great purpose.
the taste ofcoffeeis extremely refreshing here. worth every penny spent.
must visit for everyone!

this place serves quality items, (though, one may find the chutney a little too hot for one's taste buds). this is a nice joint to chill out, in spite of the fact there's no seating. sippingcoffeeand sitting in a mantap opposite the joint or just hanging around in front or on the side is a relaxing experience! the place is closed from noon till around 3 pm, is closed on sundays.

a small eatery tucked in the by lanes of basvangudi... no seating / ambiance but u wudn mind any of that...

by far the best idli / vada i hav had... served with their authentic chutney...

u may at first feel disappointed that they do not serve sambar & have no dosas etc...

but once u hav had the first bite... u do not complain further...

khara bhath / kesari bhath equally gud...

their signature filtercoffeeis a must must try...

service cudn get quicker... they wud give any fast food giant a run for their money... no jokes

overall a grt grt experience :)

my first morning breakfast in bangalore has to be @ brahminscoffeebar !
it’s probably one of my most favourite places for delicious hot steamed idlis and wadas with a big scoop of makhan (white butter) melting away and a glass full of chutney and you could ask for more and more of it !
it’s got a limited but outstanding south indian menu to offer which is reasonably priced & only standing tables! but it’s maintained it’s hygiene level ! 💯

brahminscoffeebar is a bangalore institute and is a no-frills establishment which has self-service and a standing table system. it is a sort of place where you come for the food and stay for the chutney. the most soft beautiful idlis are the best seller on their limited menu, which also includes some brilliant khara bhat (one of the best i have had in this city) and sheera. the chutney is so good that they don't offer sambhar and the chutney also has its separate counter for refills! end this perfect meal with second servings and their strongcoffeewhich hits the spot and makes for a great start to any morning.the prices are super reasonable and come up to 170 for two with a very full stomach. highly recommend you go check this place out for yourselves.

finally, made it to brahminscoffeebar for breakfast after hearing about all the hype associated around it for years.

the place is a beehive of activity but they seem to have sorted out their operations quite well. the queues though a little lengthy, moves quickly and the order is fulfilled in a jiffy. the place is sufficiently staffed to meet the needs of the large crowd. since the demand is high, the speed with which they prepare the food and get it ready is commendable which also ensures that the customer gets served hot and fresh food.

this place has just 5 items of which we had the idly (average), vada (good but a little too crispy for my liking), khara bath (very good) and the filtercoffee(good strong coffee). missed out on the kesari bath. they serve idly-vada with chutney and no sambar typical of the vintage idly-vada eateries in bengaluru. the chutney is just about ok.

since there is no place to sit, one needs to either stand and eat or take their plates to the car and eat at thier comfort.

giving this place 4/5 because i was expecting a bit more based on the hype that has been created around it.

this place has the old bengaluru nostalgia associated with it and is definitely worth visiting!

with the most comforting food idly vade with chutney. one of bengaluru's best south indian breakfasts can be eaten here, and that too within 100/- rupees! the best of traditional south indian food can be found here at brahminscoffeebar, this place is touted to be amongst the very best eatery of bangalore for filter kaapi & idli. while their idli was indeed amongst the best idlis that i had in bangalore, their filtercoffeewas good! this iconic spot doesn't need any introduction because of various reasons.. you just can't stop at one plate! this famous pit stop has been consistent when it comes to quality & quantity since 1965. definitely worth visiting though. 💁🏻‍♂️💯
