stay away. eat at your own risk. brewzilla, had a big party and they knew ahead oftimeas to not be a surprise to the. kitchen staff. when we ordered our 2 choices (salmon and steak) we were told that we could only have the steaks med but they were not med! !! they were so hard and chewy that i had to stop eating (my jaw locked! !) we had a bus picking us up to take us to the hotel and still not everyone was served. $ 90.00 veggie tray and cold as ice sides finished our meal. refilled our own water glasses and not even asked if we wanted anything else. don't go there! !*

when i went to blue star this past week i had a great time, the food was ok. the atmosphere was off-putting, the wholetimewhile i was dineing near the bar i could hear and see the owner joe harassing a waitress. he repeatly cussed at her and threatened her. i will never go to blue star or any other of his establishment.

blue star bust. a disappointing experience. in a room that was filled with few diners, it took over 20 minutes to get drinks, 1/2 hour to get a coffee (made one cup at atime--no free refills) and over an hour to get what was a passable lunch. no salt and pepper were on the table, and the chef went a bit crazy when the waitstaff dared to put s&p shakers on the table. these were ordered removed with kosher salt and cracked pepper from the kitchen to replace them. it was a long, comical, and expensive ( the waiter kindly added a 20% tip for our table of five) afternoon. with so many other great restaurants minutes away, don't waste yourtimeand $$$ here!

this restaurant was horrible! lets start witht the service. they have a poor selection of soft drinks so hopefully all of u, to include your dd are there for some beer. then, you think brewery, you expect hamburgers and hot wings and fries. here, you get a double grinded veal burger with pomme frite (fries). so we ordered that since everything else just looked nasty. so after waiting 40 minutes for our "veal" burgers, they finally arrived and tasted like crap. purely horrible. this "double ground veal" was disgusting. they put unground black pepper on everything....fries, lettuce, avocado...everything. the onlytimethe service was fast was when we handed them the credit card. negative 5 stars for this place.

very poor lunch experience. service was bad! we sat at the bar and ordered 2 beers. yes it was the heigh of lunch, but there is no excuse to wait over an hour for food to be delivered. our glasses were empty for over 10 minutes at one stretch with the bartender nowhere in sight while we waited and waited for our food. the bartender wanted to comp us a round of beers for waiting so long but only 1 for me since i was on my lunch break. totally blew thru my allotted lunchtimeand will have to work late to make up for thetimeof a lousy lunch.
the jerk chicken was dry - blackened with spices and no sauce and had an off flavor to it - do not recommend.

decent little brewery. we joined some friends for dinner here early saturday. it was our secondtimehere.
highlights - the beer. seasonal winter abbey beer was nice and smooth, a little too smooth for my tastes but a favorite with everyone else. king william was my favorite - slightly hoppy with a nice finish. and the stout - i'm not a stout drinker, but this one was creamy, rich, and smooth; i'm guessing guiness drinkers won't like it but we loved it.
the so-so - the food. nothing wrong with it, just nothing outstanding. decent price for a good burger. the ladies said the macaroni and cheese was excellent.
the cons - hmmmm... i guess it was crowded until the bus to the spurs game left. beer was a little pricey.

definitely worth a third (or further) visit when we're nearby.

i stopped liking it. we used to like this place, we have gone 6-7 times over the past the 2 years and the food was good., not great but good. i have never walked out of a restaurant but last month i went there with my 6 yr old daughter and after being waiting for 15 minutes to even be greeted at the table, our drinks were brought out and then we were ignored for 25 more minutes. when my very patient daughter commented that it was taking forever, i decided it wastimeto leave. this comes on the heals of several visits over the months before where the service was not horrible but marginal….this sort of sealed the deal. i want to like the place because it is a cool area but it just is not worth it when the service is horrible
