blue heaven is an old haunt for us. been coming here since 1999. food is excellent. very fun place with hemingway ghost ever present. rooster cemetery because it was where the cock fights happened. "great place to bury your cock." too many tourists though and the lines/wait can be irritating. a mixed bag for sure. fun and irritating. progress we guess. making room in the middle for othergreatrestaurants.

brought a couple pounds of fresh mahi mahi that we caught earlier that day and let the chef get creative with it..and he did a fantastic job with it. he blackened half of it and then prepared the other half with a sort of asian sauce on it. he filled the plates with the best side dishes of the day (potatoes were sooo good) and our cool waitress made it agreatexperience. definitely reccommend!!

great food,greatservice. we went with our infant daughter and the waitstaff held her and played with her while we ate.greatatmosphere with live music and was very low key.

everyone raved about this place so we went. greatservice and fun atmosphere! orange juice was fresh squeezed, bloody mary’s were strong and spicy and coffee was good. i love eggs benedict more then most people so when they said they specialize in them i was excited. i went with the blt - bacon, lobster and tomato add avocado (waiters recommendation). it was good...but not bursting with flavor that i had built up in my mind. everything was cooked perfect i just thought it would be a little more. pancakes looked amazing and they had some fun flavors. fruit was also really fresh. i was slightly shocked at the prices but lobster is market price and they do give you big chunks so i guess it equals out. i think it’s one of those places you need to eat at in key west!

perfect key west breakfast: seafood omelettes, blueberry pancakes, awesome banana bread in a indescribable setting, with wonderful staff and agreatbar. need i say more? well, yes - they also serve the best key lime pie on an island famous for it.

great food,greatatmosphere. they have the best key lime pie and bannana bread. all meals here are great. at night they have live music and a painter. there are wild chickens and chicks, it's agreatplace.

great food. good ritas sea scallops with veggies excellent very good service. good cocktails. i loved this restaurant so much. i love the atmosphere. it was agreatexperience. worth the wait.

very popular venue - we had to wait about 45minutes on a tuesday morning. they had somegreatlive music and plenty of seats at or around the bar so it wasn't actually a hassle. food was lovely although very expensive. i'd say a bit over priced as with tip and tax we spent $70 for two for breakfast. still worth a visit, though just be aware. the eggs benedict with the key-lime hollandaise was really good.

my parents came to key west several years ago and highly recommended this place. we came here with high expectations, and they were met, if not exceeded. the food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxing, and there wasgreatlive music. will be back for sure!

we returned their for breakfast today and were once again blown away. the service is out of this world. the breakfast was amazing. i had the rooster breakfast which consisted of pancakes, bacon, grits, sunny side up eggs and i had a cafe con leche. all of it was amazing!!

what agreatplace for breakfast in key west. my sister recommended this place and we were not disappointed. a little pricey, but very good. i had the omelet and banana bread. both were excellent. my wife had the rooster special. everything was delicious. highly recommend this place. very hard to find a parking spot, but worth the trip.greatoutdoor atmosphere.

blue heaven is a little gem we discovered toward the end of our vacation in key west, and if we ever go back we’d definitely like to try it for dinner. we stopped in randomly one day for a snack...e and wound up having some really great black bean soup and homemade corn bread. sorry for the half-eaten photo, but it was delicious!
