a decent, but overly-glorified mediocre restaurant. sadly, previously-set expectations were not met. we found that menu items had changed. no doubt you can getgoodseafood here still, but if you're from a seafood oriented tourism town (panama city beach), it's no better or worse than what you get at home. also, if you're familiar with bar and restaurant obligations and courtesies, you'd find things to criticize. our server encouraged us to let the "sprinkle pass", then disappeared, so we enjoyed our pricey meal under a leaking umbrella will soaked napkins left all over the table to dry up the splatter (so clearly he was expecting a mess, not a passing). i ordered a bottle of kj wine, i apparently didn't specify because he brought cabernet, although we were both having fish/shrimp.. odd pairing. but i didn't bother sending it back.. still like the wine, just wasn't ideal with our meals. although we weren't totally satisfied, we decided to call in a breakfast order for our last day in town. once i got a hostess on the phone, she apparently couldn't take a simple order of 2 orders of shrimp grits, so she said she'd got get someone up front.. about 15 seconds later, she hung up the phone. we love to patronize kw restaurants, but it's the little things, we won't be returning.
