as far as restaurant and customer service goes i have never had such a bad service as the one i recieved yesterday at blos cafe.
we booked a specific 5 seater table, and upon our arrival the table that had been reserved had been given to someone else. they searched the deck for a table, found a 4 seater and just added a chair. i complained and said no, this isn't a 5 seater at all, we are also a family all over 6foot, it's called leg room and just general space! the manager and waiter assured us that the couple sitting next to us was leaving soon and then we could join the tables. a second manager then came and apologized and assured us the same thing. when the couple left we got up to join the tables and bam the first manager was showing a new couple to the table, and this couple got extremely rude, swearing, shouting and making a scene when we told them we had been assured by both managers of this table. the first manager stood there, mouth gaping and saying nothing. i mean how hard can it be!!!!!! oh yes and then the food. we had literally just received our starters, i was on my first mouthful, when the waiter says that the kitchen is plating up our mains to bring. we said no, we have literally just gotten our starters, and a starter is generally there to have before a main, followed by a little break before the main. the waiter said well sorry your food will get cold then. all 3 of our burgers were also lacking in sauce...it truly was an instance of spot the sauce if you can.
after such a shameful, annoying, irritating and drawn out table mess up, that happened twice in one seating because of the incompetence of the managers and waiters, no recompense was made. absolutely shameful.. i don't know how your restaurant runs, but i should be ashamed to bring anyone here again.
