big truck tacos

something out of the ordinary in fast food. although you have to wait in line, it's worth the wait. try every sauce, you don't get that kind of variety every day.

tacos sibilia is tastier and cheaper. like big truck tacos, tacos sibilia has a taqueria location and a truck.
however, big truck tacos is expensive, but tacos sibilia, a guatemalan restaurant, is much less expensive and has a long list of daily specials that are delicious. i enjoy the fried plantains, caldo de res (beef soup), tortas, tacos, and anything that i try there. i went to big truck tacos once and will not return after the taco bell like burrito, but i will keep returning to tacos sibilia

10/10 would eat there again. good vegetarian tacos.

i really like btt. the queso is by far the best. you can even get it to go, or you can catch one of their food trucks, elsewhere. i reccomend the rancher.

i don't get it. i just don't get it. well, maybe i do. this place is vastly overrated. everyone has raved about it because it's different and unusual for the masses in okc. while that may be somewhat true (although you can find plenty of good taco shops in the south of the city-and even late night menus at some local mexican restaurants), the quality of the food is just not that great. it is lacking flavor; i've tried it several times as folks from my office want to go there or friends want to meet there and it just didn't leave me wanting more. i wish it was good. i want to like it as i love tacos and i love unusual fare, but they're missing it here. the queso also is very lackluster-it's extremely thick and has a curdled texture-don't know if that's just because it's been sitting too long or what but it's no bueno.

to be fair, i do enjoy their sauces on the table and i will admit that the last time i ate big truck, it was at a catered event, and it was better than i had remembered so i may give it one last chance but it won't be at the top of my list to get to.

overrated!. just moving here from dallas recently, i have been hearing how great big truck is. i'm going to keep it short, and say that it is very overrated. if you've ever been to torchy's tacos in dallas or any of the other locations, you'll never think about big truck again. the prices at torchy's are a little higher, but the tacos are way bigger and 10x as tasty. i was hoping big truck would be suitable replacement after hearing all the hype, but it's not even close. i will say that the hot sauce was really good though, i tried 3 different ones and liked them all. will probably give some of the other tacos a try since we live so close.

third time is not a charm.. i have eating here three times at the coaxing of co-workers and was disappointed each time. first try was the fried avocado tacos. sounded great and a friend highly recommended it. i thought they were very bland and i tasted more frying oil than avocado. the other two times i got the calamari (afraid to try anything else and how wrong can you go on calamari) and both times, though the taste was not bad, it also was a bit bland and soggy. i have been told that the varieties of sauces they provide are to die for but in my opinion, sauce should enhance a dish not mask a poor tasting/presented one.

the first experience there i went inside (the others meals were brought to the office, take-out) and though they were extremely busy, the service was fast. the only problem was the young woman taking my order was a bit condescending while i ordered. i did not take a long time but i guess i didn't know my big truck tacos ordering etiquette and was made to feel as how dare i not know where to stand and how things work there.

always fun!. a great place for a quick taco. it's just a wondeful taco. if you think about, you can't always say that around here. you'd be hard pressed to find a better one.

good but not cheap.. very good. not the best but i will return.

used to like it but yikes, this place has changed! ordered the crispycado and it was so soggy that the tortilla had turned to goo and liquid spilled everywhere...fried avocado was nothing but mush. gross! they've also gotten stingy with the salsas for carry out, usually i would get five or six but this time they would only give me one tiny cup per taco that i bought, not nearly enough for even one bite. wondered what had happened to this place, used to be great food now going downhill fast.

since it went under new ownership the quality is not as good. if you buy a successful business why in the world would you change anything? if it ain't broke...don't fix it! please bring back the old big truck quality. no more watered down queso, no more dirty tables everywhere, etc.

quality going downhill fast.. when bt first opened it was my favorite taco/mexican food in the metro. now i really don't like eating there and each time i do it seems worse than the time before. maybe it is me, but it really seems that the quality has gone downhill with bt. i am not a food critic but please bt bring back the quality that i once loved.

great for dining in. i love btt, but only if i am eating there or off their truck. i have gotten take out twice and both times it was cold and soggy by the time i got back to the office (10 minutes away). it just doesn't travel well.

that being said, the guardian on corn tortillas with some salsa verde is delicious. someday i am going to get brave enough to try the fifth, just not today...

tongue tied!. love the flaming lips, beef tongue is soo good. you may not think you'll like it, but as long as you don't think about what you're eating, you're going to love it.

good but not great. i love tacos, but for the price listed i only get one taco it's an ok size but not worth it. it was a pretty messy taco. i say they are good in the end but idk if i would go back. which i'm very sad about.
