white person tacos. i'm the biggest fan in the history of tacos/taquerias. i have eaten at literally hundreds of shops, taquerias and other actual trucks, it's my favouritefoodon the planet. i went to btt, and i did what i normally do when trying a new taco joint, i get 6-7 different tacos to see where their mastery lies. in this case i ordered 7 tacos, queso and chips. first off it was way too expensive, for all of this plus the jalapenos, (which it was $4 for 4) it was almost $40!!! the main problem to me though was that i literally only kind of liked 1 of the tacos! the taco was the "flaming lips" i believe. the queso was sub par, chips were good. the staff was very friendly and attentive. i did like the atmosphere and the manager came over to ask how everything was and i honestly didn't have the strength to say i just didn't enjoy anything. obviousiy btt is doing fantastically well and will continue to do so, so what do i know right? i've to this day heard wonderous things about this place and i always give the same advise, go to a real taco truck by your house or to la frontera on 23 and macarthur and enjoy some authentic tacos. don't be afraid to try something new!

didn't like. this place used to be ok. after yesterdays trip to btt, i will not waste my time or money again. thefooddoes not have the same quality or taste. it seemed like there was no love put in thefoodduring preparation. the dining room and restrooms were filthy, with paper andfoodall over the floors. the workers looked unhappy and were rude. wow btt what happened?

fan favorite. i liked everything i have had, and i have tried well over half the menu. while not overly expensive, thefoodis not cheap. for my tastes, it worth the price. this is not your typical taco stand and not typical street vendor fair. they do not pretend to be authentic mexican food, they are simply saving the world one taco at a time. if you are an adventuresome eater you need to try the 5th, it's different every time but always delicious. the guardian tacos as well as everything else with bison meat is better than anything i can make at home. thefoodreally is good, that's why it's especially packed at lunch time. if you are impatient, go in the middle of the afternoon when it's less crowded. if you work night shift, you can't beat the breakfast menu. the mother trucker and a beer make for a great post shift breakfast. i drive a fair distance to eat here and i have never been disappointed. and how can you not like the mango salsa?

lower your expectations and enjoy. bland for taco truck status. better than most tacos, but not as good as most taco trucks. i look for tortas at taco trucks and this place disappointed. it's now overrun with the commercial crowd. i think thefoodhas been dumbed/blanded down. still pretty good food, just not to my standards of taco trucky goodness.

this is good food, just not great...and because of the hype, this gets a dislike.

delicious, crowded, and a little pricey. first off, thefoodis great. it's not the norm in the tex-mex world, which is a nice change of pace. the location is pretty small, so don't bank on getting a table during busy hours. but they do get thefoodout pretty quickly, so that helps. they also have a few oddball things on the menu, which i would expect to pay a little more for, but their basic menu items (beef, pork, etc.) are a little on the high side. it's a nice change of pace, though. i recommend checking it out, but expect to splurge a little.

goodfoodis not cheap.. i had a burrito for the first time and loved it. i always did the i-40 pileup which was never the same size but was delicious.
i tried their coffee yesterday...obviously they don't sell a lot of coffee. terrible...gas station coffee is better.
i've tried 1.99 burrito's...they are cheap but not good...6 dollar burrito...worth it here.

i love big truck taco, they have greatfoodbut an amazing breakfast. the only thing that drives me crazy about them is that they say it's til 11:00. well folks its not. i work in the restaurant business and i understand they need to switch to lunch but when we do happy hour where i work it is until the exact time we say not 15 minutes before!!! this disappoints me in the mornings.

i don't know why people buy their stickers. this place consistently makes me think, "how is this so popular?" when i have gone there, i trypically go wanting and hoping to try something i will like. but, alas, i leave disappointed. not just with the food, but also with the price and the service. thefoodis expensive and the people are rude.

the hipster crowd digs it though. after all, it's cool to not care.

overpriced. i paid almost $10 and got 2 tacos and a drink. there is nothing special about this place. save your money and eat at a real taco truck and get better tastingfoodfor a whole lot less.foodis like clothes if you jack up the price then people will think it must be good. i cant wait too see this place go out of business.

glad they are here!!!!!. to refer to some of the previous reviewers as idiots wouldnt be nice. yet i struggle to understand how anyone could possibly have such negative opinions about such a place. i frequent big truck tacos with my family often. i have been there early in the morning, late in the evening and about every time in between. how can my observations be so different? i have used the rest rooms, taken to go food, interacted with the staff when i order. still, why is my experience so different? perhaps because i have no hidden agenda. i have eaten great, fresh, innovativefoodfor almost 2 years here. i have been greated by friendly, professional and happy staff. i don't believe i am the only person who loves what this little place does. i have a suggestion, however. if you don't like it don't go there. that would leave more room for the millions of other people who do appreciate greatfoodfor what it is. i hope they don't change. your review says more negative about you than it would ever cast negative on btt. i wish they would open an upscale sit down place. in the mean time people i will continue to support my local hot spot because of everything it does offer. 16,000 face book fans can't be all wrong. leave this place alone and eat somewhere else. your ugly words undoubtedly have compromised your palet and your jealousy has effected your mind. take your "review" elsewhere.

go there/eat there. this place was awesome the first time we went. the meat was tender and everything was seasoned nicely. the next time we went for breakfast and i had a couple burritos (get a couple tacos, not as heavy). again, goodfoodi have gotten a couple of times since. we ordered some to go and went again for lunch and the beef was extremely tough this time, especially on the to go order that had time to cool off a little. i would recoomend trying this place but would only eat it there.
also, has anyone actually eaten from the taco truck? when and where does it run?

not worth it. bland food. i like a flavor adventure when i eat. also, i felt rushed. hardly any seating. if you want great mexican, go to taqueria san pedro on sw 44th. it isn't the hole-in-the-wall it used to be (they remodeled) but thefoodis still fantastic!

this place reminds me of a yogi berra quote: "nobody goes there anymore. it's too crowded." it's really hard to visit "big truck." parking is difficult, you have to wait in a long line, and it's hard to find a seat. i enjoyed thefoodpretty well the three times i braved it. my favorites were the ceviche (very fresh tasting) and the orange salsa on the tables (habanero and dried fruit salsa.) in the end it's just too much work, and it's hard to enjoy thefoodafter going through all that. what they really need is a drive-thru window!

no thanks. reading the descriptions of all the items on the menu does make thefoodseem interesting, but my wife and i were both disappointed when we finally tasted some of the tacos. the tacos do not taste like anything one would get from a taqueria...for some people that's fine, but i prefer tacos that taste a bit more authentic. the beef al carbon tacos sounded familiar in name, but unfortunately before ordering i missed the part where it's described as containing "coffee rubbed flank steak". i found the coffee flavor unappetizing and distracting from what would otherwise have been a decent taco. the "cjs verde pork" taco was a mess...the shredded pork lacked flavor and had so much liquid in it that its consistency was mushy. the "rancher" was ok, but to be honest i find that a simple carne asada taco from almost any respectable taqueria to be much more enjoyable. for me, i won't be retuning here...there are just too many other places to get tacos from.

wowza!. there is a reason that 970 people have voted and like this place. very innovative and tasty tacos (there is a damn good reason they have rick bayless smiling in their profile picture).

everything i have tasted here is great (basically the entire menu - cmon, i like to eat!). anyone that would rather go to any of the other crappy tex-mex places in town (el chico, abuleos, ted's), clearly doesnt understand what goodfoodis.

the place gets busy at lunch, but it is worth it! go check it out! okc needs mroe homegrown restaurants like big truck tacos and the bbq chop shop (on north may).
