real tacos!. big truck tacos is a white mans version of mexican tacos. salsas are so bland, greasy food with no flavor.. here's a hint to all you people including food reviewers, want real taste? go to tacos san pedro on s 44 th and penn. you will rewrite these ludacris reviews. can't blame okc tho, it's not our fault, we been used to tex mex so long that we think big truck is real?!?!? cmon people!! seriously?? try tsp on 44 and penn!! your tastebuds will thank tou

delicious and authentic. can't say enough about the food here. sadly, i haven't actually made it to the location yet, but have eaten and been thrilled by the take home my husband brings. every single bite of every single selection and sauce has been delicious! i can't wait to go and experience the place itself! update omg! this place rocks! the service and the atmosphere are every bit as good as the delicious food!

so....... you said you really like it then you voted that you didn't like it. makes me wonder what you mean. btt doesn't even fall in the same category as taco bell. that's like trying to make a comparison between an amc pacer and a cadillac. why can't people have the option to eat at a great place and have great food even if it's a taco? i will take fresh made food, real meat, proper queso over processed, high fat, taco bell anytime. and by the looks of things so would a lot of others.

36 comments makes btt one of the most visited, talked about places in okc. i think we all like the underdog." how dare a place open up and gain such popularity and buzz. there are all these great places on the southside with better tacos and all for half of what you pay for at btt. btt lacks flavor and caters to people too afraid to travel to a real taqueria....they need to stay open later, the staff is rude, blah, blah, blah" now really! since when was success a crime? what is it about this place that brings out such emotion? no other place has created such opinion over food! the food is great. period. if you don't get a sense of love and wanting to do something really great from this place then i would wonder who is whispering in your ear. the menu is well thought out. the specific items..... spot on. these two women have created a concept we all wish we had. the life of big truck tacos is something that is not man-made. it happend as a result of doing something better. you can taste it in the food and you can feel it in the 3200+ words of their fans. thank you btt for wanting and choosing to do things different. there are a multitude of us who will sing your praises as long as you will continue to dance to a different beat.

it's good, but????????????. i agree they're good, even really good. but, i justdon't see why so many people are carrying on so. up until just a few years ago there was a taco / burrito place in norman, atomic burrito, that had all the ala carte eateries beat hands down. you started out with a basic burrito, told them what you wanted on it and how much. you paid by the pound and it startled me a bit when i paid on our first visit. thank goodness i make a habit of holding back and ordering moderately when visiting a new place. it's a good thing i did. i believe our first visit was in the mid-'90s. so, almost $5 for one burrito shocked me just a bit. but, when i lifted the bag with our two burritos i got a big surprise. heavy! now, i'm a big eater. but, it took me two meals to finish mine off. after her second meal, my wife finally decided to throw the remainer of hers in the trash since we wouldn't be home the next day. as for a previous review that stated bbt was inexpensive, $15, and try feeding two people at taco bell for that. we eat at taco bell generally once every two weeks and are both well filled for about half that. and no, that's not off the value menu, although we don't drink sodas at all. so, that's $3 we save. of course, there's always two sides and also why okc has been deemed the "fast food capital of the world".

outstanding. my family has dined here on numerous occasions, with invariably positive experiences. the tacos are authentic, creative, and made with fresh ingredients. service is also reliable. the option for outdoor dining is also a plus.

fantastic spot. i love that they took a chance in the 23rd street neighborhood. its a great step forward in the revitalization of that area. and the food is fantastic. crispy-cado is crispy on the outside and creamy avocado goodness on the inside. please take a chance on the 5th! viva duck and quail! i do wish they had a mole or a dark smokey salsa of some sort. seating inside is bar style, so if you have a large party you might need to check before you stop by. okc weirdos: please be aware if you are seated at the big middle tables this does not mean you are the exclusive owner of that table. sit wear you fit, and don't be so angry looking when a stranger asks to sit by you. geez louise.

whoa!!. my wife and i visited okc this month and were told about btt. we checked out the menu online and saw they had a pretty eclectic selection. we were warned that if you get there around lunchtime during the week, you can expect a good line of people.
well, we arrived at around 11:30ish and it was already crowded (good sign in my book) so we sauntered up and secured our place in line. i had the bison burrito and my wife had the beef taco. our friends got an order of quesadillas.
none of this dissappointed one bit! flavor up the ying yang and the portions were perfect. the prices were reasonable and the staff was more than helpful.
now i am forced to go to okc every year, but btt will make it more than worth it. the only downside i can mention is the fact that they close at 7:30pm. i can't imagine what kind of business they would do for the weekend night crowd from downtown, but judging from the crowds they have during the week, i guess they wouldn't have to worry.

best tacos in town!. big truck tacos are the best tacos in town and some of the best i've ever eaten. i make at least one trip there a week and never leave disappointed. it's very popular based on the crowd it draws every day, from early to late. every person i know who's tried it loves it and goes back often.

big truck. i think its the best casual dining in town...i think the staff is lovely, efficient, and they work to keep things moving...which they have to do because they are always slammed...which, i think, adds to the atmosphere, you never know who you will be sitting across from enjoying your most scrumptious meal...its a well thought out, well executed, well oiled machine, i think they are amazing...

pretty okay lunch, i've had some disappointments there but they try to come up with creative new tacos and i really appreciate the variety. the breakfast is what's amazing... i wish they served it all day, every day. the verde salsa is also great, and the "omg" sauce. they aren't the friendliest, but luckily you can get in and out pretty quick without having to interract with the staff too much, especially if you call ahead.

delicious!. i have been a btt fan since day 1. btt offers a variety of tacos, burritos, salads, and daily specials. all of the tacos are delicious, and there is something for everyone, including vegetarians. my favorite is the "5th amendment." they "plead the fifth" in this taco, which means that it is different every day. i always order a fifth and queso (which is phenomenal) and have never been disappointed. btt is not a traditional taqueria or taco truck. i'd describe is modern mexican-american. it is totally worth waiting in the line that is usually out the door at lunch time.
