wednesday february 11, 2015. first, let me say i "like" this place. on our way to horseshoe for a few days, stopped by for an early dinner. we ordered the elvis platter and a brisket sandwich to share between the 2 of us. the portion sizes were good for the price paid, and the flavour of the meat was good, good smoke ring on my ribs, and all meats (brisket, wings, pulled pork) were cooked to perfection, meaning not dry and fall of the bone ribs and wings. i do agree 100% with the negative reviews that improvement is needed with the fries, and sides for that matter. the beans were similar to what i can get out of a can, and the coleslaw lacked any zing, and what is with the cavendish french fries? in saying this, i do recommend this place, but can not give it an a+ for the lack of vision with the sides, but a solid b.
