have heard so much about this place so decided to visit when i was in amritsar.

it is located near the goldentempleand the space is not that congested with proper seating arrangements.
it was fully packed as we went during the rush hours, had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes.

we have ordered aloo kulcha and mixed kulcha, both were amazing in taste and with a proper crisp. mixed kulcha is highly recommended which is a mixture of aloo, paneer, cabbage and onions.
they serve the kulchas with chole, achar, khatti-meethi chutney and salad.

the good part is that being so popular in the town their rates are very affordable plus the staff members are very kind, the service was good too.

this iconic shop is split in 2. one counter on the main road leading to the goldentempleand one bigger outlet in the bylane. the counter has just 1 table and serves more as a take away spot whereas the outlet in the bylane is much bigger with more seating space. both the outlets serve hot, crispy, generously filled kulchas with a spicy chole in gravy and are topped with a bit of yellow butter.
i strongly recommend having the lassi along with the kulchas. it is thick and sweet and topped with grainy malai.
an authentic breakfast experience.

sitting space is less or nil ...
although taste was worth,, location just near to goldentemple,,, good morning breakfast, in evening may be he is not available....be asure about timings as ....

this place is very near to goldentempleand jallainwala bagh, located on the complex road, but has large sitting space inside the lane, the space has basic sitting area.

the food served is fresh and good. i tried aloo, gobhi and mix kulcha, each had its own taste with flaky texture in common. i liked the mixed one the most. it is served with chole , chutney and onion , amla pickle and aloo pickle. great taste, economically priced, service and hygiene needs little more attention

amritsar aaye or yaha kuchle na khaye to kya amritsar aaye.
place is near goldentempleand opens early in morning.
crispy kulchas are just mouth watering and rejuvenate your taste buds.
place is very economical and i think the best place to have kulchas in amritsar.
must visit

visited goldentemplein the morning. 7:30 am this place was bursting with action. had alu khulche,paneer and mixed(family shared) . amazing taste. crispy outside. soft inside. chole slightly on the milder side but went well with kulcha.

kulwant singh kulche are popular and pretty old ones in amritsar. the place is located in the vicinity of goldentempleand they have an extended seating plan at some walkable distance from the main one.
the prices are nominal and the quality is good. we tried aloo and gobhi kulcha served with chole and pickle.
kulche were crisp and freshly hot. topped with a dollop of butter.
👉🏻 suggestion - focus on cleanliness as it was below par. regular floor cleaning and head cap change should be done. staff was wearing dirty head scarves and floor had used tissues disposed.

if you really wanna try the authentic amritsari kulcha you should consider this place over other options including kulchaland or brother's dhaba as we have tried all places.
they serve the perfect optimum quantity and most authentic taste.
go if you are only taste specific and from a foodie's pov as one should not have expectations regarding the ambience due to very less space. other than that, the most authentic amritsari kulcha place right on goldentempleroad.

all three stars for the the taste of the kulcha. it was the best kulcha i have had till date. don't be disappointed while you try to reach the resteraunt. it is situated in one of the bylanes of goldentemplearea. but once you there in a very ordinary looking resteraunt you get the tastiest kulchas cooked to perfection. it it served with unlimited chole. i personally enjoyed the four mix kulcha.

i recommend this place.

they are serving just another ordinary kulcha since there are many places in amritsar serving way more delicious kulchas. its the oldest n closest place to goldentemplebut the quality of their kulchas has stooped a lot since i just had their kulcha a month back n it was just rubbish tbh

small shop big taste this must be the tagline of this dhaba. very close to goldentemplevery small shop but taste wise they have the best amritsari kulcha. we have ordered aloo kulcha mix veg and gobhi kulcha with lassi and everything was superb. lassi was also tasty. definitely you must visit .

came to amritsar for the first time. there are a lot of dhabhas around the goldentempleand one of them is bhai kulwant singh kulchian wala. the place has a old setup and a very very limited menu.
about 4 varieties of kulchas and lassi is the favourite.
we tried all the varieties and were amazed with the soft and crispy kulchas. they just melt in your mouth without making much effort to chew.
post to hat we tried kulchas at many places in and around amritsar. but this one for sure was the best. would a rating of 5 on 5. a must try place.

an amazing place to try the amritsari kulcha's, located near the goldentempleand opens up really early. the kulchas are flaky and soft, the taste of the stuffing is really the best. the flavours are just perfect. tried the 4 stuffing kulcha which was a combination of pithi, aloo, paneer and gobhi. 1 single kulcha will fill your stomach and is a perfect start for your day, dont forget to grab a glass of lassi along with the kulcha.
