have heard so much about this place so decided to visit when i was in amritsar.

it is located near thegoldentemple and the space is not that congested with proper seating arrangements.
it was fully packed as we went during the rush hours, had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes.

we have ordered aloo kulcha and mixed kulcha, both were amazing in taste and with a proper crisp. mixed kulcha is highly recommended which is a mixture of aloo, paneer, cabbage and onions.
they serve the kulchas with chole, achar, khatti-meethi chutney and salad.

the good part is that being so popular in the town their rates are very affordable plus the staff members are very kind, the service was good too.

the first look will make you feel that this meal is going to be the heaviest on your stomach, but amazingly the kulcha is as light as curd. it will crack beneath your fingers at the slightest touch and just as easily melt in your mouth. conveniently located in the middle of the heritage walk market near thegoldentemple, the food here is as delicious as it can get. would love to come back here!

a small family restaurant with pretty normal setting serving five different varieties of amritsari kulcha is a must visit when you are near harmandir saheb. it can be easily located and the prices are decent too. service is quick but there is usually waiting. its like the famous breakfast place aroundgoldentemple. we tried all the five varieties of kulcha,each had it's own distinct taste. my favorite were the aaloo kulcha and paneer kulcha. the kulche here are thick and stuffed well and served with very lightly spiced chole and onion and pickle. we ended our meal with a glass of lassi

this iconic shop is split in 2. one counter on the main road leading to thegoldentemple and one bigger outlet in the bylane. the counter has just 1 table and serves more as a take away spot whereas the outlet in the bylane is much bigger with more seating space. both the outlets serve hot, crispy, generously filled kulchas with a spicy chole in gravy and are topped with a bit of yellow butter.
i strongly recommend having the lassi along with the kulchas. it is thick and sweet and topped with grainy malai.
an authentic breakfast experience.

i was on a food crawl neargoldentemple, amritsar. i have heard a lot from the city people about kulwant kulcha so i with my friends gave it a try. the kulcha was tasty on the whole but less crispy . the filling inside the kulcha was very yum and the chole alongwith chutney everything was just perfect. we ordered aaloo kulchas and the butter was overloaded on it that really adds to the beauty of the kulcha.

non nonsense shop selling amritsari kulcha, very near togoldentemple, has different types of kulcha available - aloo, paneer, pithi, gobhi, 4 mix kulcha but best out of the lot is aloo kulcha which was crispy and cholle very good but little bit spicy, served along with onion chutney and butter. can visit this place if you go togoldentemple. service is quick!

these are the best kulchas that you will find in amritsar. the place is in thr main market neargoldentemple/shri harmandir sahib. they serve kulchas only during morning, so don't forget to reach there before 10:30. a lot of locals also take their breakfast at this place, and the place is real small, so be prepared for atleast 15-20min wait time on weekends. weekdays are generally less crowded and you could easily get a place to sit on a table out of the 3 tables placed there. i ordered 3 kulchas - aaloo, gobhi and peethi. all three were equally amazing and costed just rs 170/-. their chutney is to die for. the place is a little crowded all the time, so customers often forget to tip the 2 workers. make sure that you do :)

i believe this is the most popular place in amritsar to relish some delicious amritsari delicacies.
it is popular for amritsari kulchas.

i visit here every time i visit amritsar as it is very near togoldentemple. the restaurant offers sitting on two floor, however it is always packed with customers.

this place is very near togoldentemple and jallainwala bagh, located on the complex road, but has large sitting space inside the lane, the space has basic sitting area.

the food served is fresh and good. i tried aloo, gobhi and mix kulcha, each had its own taste with flaky texture in common. i liked the mixed one the most. it is served with chole , chutney and onion , amla pickle and aloo pickle. great taste, economically priced, service and hygiene needs little more attention

place is near togoldentemple. very crowded. we had four mix kulcha and lassi. kulcha was good but nothing special.. ( i tried kulcha at two other places and taste was similar) lassi was not up to the mark. it was watery. overall average place. u can try if u are nearby but don't go specially.

amritsar aaye or yaha kuchle na khaye to kya amritsar aaye.
place is neargoldentemple and opens early in morning.
crispy kulchas are just mouth watering and rejuvenate your taste buds.
place is very economical and i think the best place to have kulchas in amritsar.

four mix kulcha is very good which they serve with amul butter. their kulchas are a good breakfast option near to thegoldentemple. they are too heavy though, but you can give it a try for sure.
