ignorant staff. went to bentspoke on the recommendation of some friends for celebratory dinner. i ordered the rib eye steak which, according to the menu was to be accompanied by 'beernaise' sauce. when it arrived with seeded mustard i queried with the bearded hipster waiter in a polite manner why this was so. he said 'yeah, it's seeded mustard bernaise!' do you honestly think your customers are completely stupid? i pointed out it was not a sauce of any kind and showed him the menu after which he said he would check with the kitchen. on his return he, without waiting for any response, very rudely informed me that the menu was in fact wrong and it was now being served with a mustard sauce. fine if 1. i had been informed prior to ordering that the menu was out of date and 2. it was actually a sauce and not seeeded mustard taken straight from the jar. i am really annoyed by this experience as the steak was really not too bad and thebeeris excellent. it is not enough however these days to offer a less than pleasant all round experince through rude service to patrons who are spoiled for choice and are informed about the food they order and expect.

beers were great, although were quite expensive. having said that, i don't mind paying for goodbeerin a nice setting. the food is average to say the least. the cheeseboard was okay. go here for beers and then find another place to eat in braddon.

great choices ofbeerand enjoyable evening. share plates were enjoyable - we had the ploughmans. cider was good. limited wine menu but good choices. a bit noisy.

ventured to bentspoke brewing co a few times during a short stay in braddon.beerwas excellent, food good too. would return if back in canberra.

came here for thebeerand it was excellent. as designated driver, i had the mid-strength, and it was the best flavoured mid-strengthbeeri've tasted (and we've done a lot of breweries!) mybeerloving husband was equally as impressed. down side was they don't fill glass growlers or squealers which seems very odd...

if craftbeeris your thing, this place is for you.

another great afternoon with our lovely friends great food and as always thebeeramazing and the friendly staff outstanding .we will return very soon

customer service needs to improve. one particular staff member showed a very rude and sarcastic attitude to one of our group when he was trying to select his beer. given all your beers are your own brew, i would've thought staff should be trained to be as accomodating as possible with helping patrons withbeerselections. very disappointing.

my local, bentspoke has a good setup and can accomodate large groups in their upstairs area. on my most recent trip, shared some smoked mac n cheese balls & grain crusted hot wings (a good serving for the price). brewed on site, i am a fan of their g.f.g - gingerbeer(although slightly sweet) & their mulled brew - 'hot off the press.' 🍻try the chicken burger on the black charcoal bun & the fish tacos too! 🌮

nice place, good vibe.beerwe had pale ale and ipa, both were excellent. chicken burger was delicious, not too big. yummy chilli mayo sauce. happy diner!

fairly new to braddon, it’s been immensely popular for bothbeerand good food to go with beer. it’s a great spot forbeerlovers, but also excellent for newbies to discover the subtle flavours of boutique beers like the light and lovely barley griffin – an easy drinking pale ale with a subtle hop flavour…

spent the afternoon of new years eve here and the atmosphere was great.

they brew there ownbeerso i had a couple of pale ales which had a nice kick to start off the night.

once the beers were polished off we ordered the beef fajitas and mild chicken wings ( should of ordered the hot ones as the mild werent mild for my standards) and both dishes went very well with the beers.

they have many own brewed beers on tap with a good vibe about the place so would recommend this one.

fantasticbeerselection! i'm a huge fan of dark beers and bentspoke delivers. i'd recommend the grainy or big nut for those wanting dark beers. thebeerselection here is broad and revolving. it's also a pretty good relatively chill scene. the food is only so so. i wouldn't go here for a good destination but i'd have the food here for the sake of having the drinks.

been a few times, the food is........ok. more than anything this place has some terrific boutique beers and great atmosphere. the fare on offer goes just great with thebeerand intention of the place. well worth a visit on those hot dry summer days.

yummy. after long drive from melbourne, this was just what we wanted. goodbeerand great burgers. wine list is good too. we had the chicken burger and the lamb burger. both were well cooked and very flavoursome. you get to choose your own house made sauce - not to our taste but good. chips are hot, soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. the buns that came with the burgers were so soft and delicious. thanks for an enjoyable satisfying meal.

food was great, came with a freebeerwhich was lovely. was better than "pub food". service good, comfortable seating (we were upstairs). it can be a bit loud in there, but it's warm and friendly. great selection of beers and the food was presented nicely. recommended.
