their thai food is one of the best i've had in india. great value for money. terrific ambience too. also, be sure to save some room for dessert. their coconut ice-cream is absolutely divine!

benjarong as the name suggests is a place to eat thai food. the place makes you feel as if you are eating in thailand. the food is great and the jasmine tea they serve is very refreshing.

fantastic thai food at a good price in the city.

i have to admit they are a bit heavy handed with their spices, but overall a wonderful meal.

the pandan chicken takes me back to when i used to live in thailand. i love the complimentary starters and remember to request for the died prawns if you like your seafood!

i was there for dinner yesterday. i have heard a lot of positive reviews of the food from friends and family for a long time.

finally found my way there and was very pleased with the food. top quality ingredients, fresh seafood, fluffy rice and courteous staff.

am going back to sample more from their menu next time.

went for lunch with my family and i was honestly disappointed with the quality of food. this is such an expensive restaurant that is not worth it at all. we had some chicken and rice and it was just ordinary. for the price, we expected something really good and we were disappointed. the dessert was the saving grace of the restaurant. however i wouldn't recommend this place because it is just not worth the price.

thai food. there's more to thai food than just phad thai and no one shows you that better than benjarong in chennai. beautifully done up place with the quintessential thai royal mirror at your first sight. 10 points for the ambience definitely! the somph platter is replaced with betel leaves and an assortment of salted groundnuts, tamarind sauce, roasted coconut and condiments. - make your own paan style. we had the thai cooler watermelon and citrus drink and my friend tried out the chicken satay- somewhat like our tikkas and kebabs. she said it was good. don't ask me. aachaaramaana brahmana paiyyan i am. :p and the last but not the least however the most disappointing was the chocolate mousse dessert. served in a very small cup, it made us frown about the vfm-ness of the place. quite overpriced. just three dishes and 1000 bucks. and i'm talking about just a drink, an appetiser and a dessert. at the end of the day commendable service. we were spared of the embarrassing act of asking someone to take a picture of the three of us as one of the maitre d's was quick to offer to take a picture of us. pleasant experience if you have hot cash :) - madhu mitha and shivani ramachandran

really enjoyed the food here and loved the unique thai paan served in the beginning.
the ambience is great too.

benjarong is chain we can rely when looking for the thai cuisine.i became a big fan of thai cuisine in singapore and almost had it everyday for lunch. so when i visited benjarong last year i was expecting a good vibrance of thai taste and to my utter surprise was not disappointed at all. from tom yum soup to green curry it was a good experience. recommended stop for thai cuisine!

benjarong was on the wishlist for a long time as quite a lot of people had recommended it as the goto place for oriental cuisine. our visit - though not a disaster, was definitely disappointing. repeat visit looks highly unlikely.

what we liked:
1/ food presentation

what we did not:
1/ prices. too expensive for what's on offer.
2/ delayed service.
3/ average food. nothing extraordinary. would root for cheaper alternatives like wang's kitchen.
