belmont grill

eh. i feel bad for writing about this place, but i would not rush to return. i saw other reviews and was hyped for some amazing food and was disappointed when i went. i ate a cheeseburger with a loaded baked potato as a side. myburgerwas average, nothing spectacular. and the pictures you see online make the baked potato look delicious...but mine was not. i asked for no onions and my waitress told me they premade them so i couldn't get onions removed. when i received it, you could tell it had been heated up. it fell apart when i tried to open it and it did not taste good to me. the boyfriend said his was ok, but he was also disappointed. i feel like this could be a hit or miss place. you should try it if you want! i just would rather not go back.

theburgeris still the bomb. i like their consistent standards. still have never ordered anything else here but my friend ordered the spinach dip which came with chips. it proved the truth for me that one should only order theburgerfor true happiness at belmont. your mileage may vary but please deliver my thanks to the staff for the awesomeness of the burger.

ah that burger. i lunched here yesterday with a dear friend after some time away. well, heavens, their parking lot issue is pretty bad. still, theburgerwas amazing. i don't know about marrying it, but i'd have it for supper anytime i want a good hamburger. i just never have ordered anything else here. i guess its probably a good place for other things. who knows?

okay, i did think of a complaint. nah, nevermind. no complaints. how can anyone complain its too cold in summer in memphis?

another vote for the burgers. i have never ordered anything else here. if i want a good cheeseburger this is where i go. forget fast food. have a belmont burger. on occasion.

best burger. probably one the best, if not the bestburgerin memphis. saw a review where it was compared to huey's - that made me laugh. huey's is soooo overrated, and thisburgerbeats them hands down. juicy, flavorful, big, and so tasty! their twice baked stuffed potatoes are also awesome.

there’s a bar in the middle of the restaurant several booths and tables set up around it. i really liked that they had lights strung up all around the restaurant and bar. christopher got the french dip sandwich which we both felt was so-so. not bad, but not something either of us would order again. i, however, got the belmontburgertopped with swiss, bacon, and smothered onions and it was delightful! it was served on a grilled buttered french roll which just took it to the next level. this is one of the best burgers i’

the slaw and the rest of the belmontburgercombined for a savoriness that delighted my taste buds.

belmont is a dark, dingy little memphis restaurant. it's been around forever. and every time i eat the belmontburgeri want to marry it. seriously. it's like buttah. bestburgerin memphis.

good food.. i had dinner here last night.burgerwas delicious. cooked just right. service was okay. i caught my obviously pregnant server outside smoking a cigarette. twice. other than that i had no complaints. well maybe one more.... the men's room was comically small. i know this is no reflection on the restaurant. it is a very old building. if you are scared of tight places don't go to the bathroom!!

burger heaven. myburgeri had for lunch today was amazing. the hoagie it was served on made it slightly messy but, man, did they cook the thick patty perfectly. we also got some wings and spinach dip. wayyy too much food for 3 people. our service was great and i really enjoyed the nostalgia of the building. fast, cheap, plentiful, original and damn good will have me returning frequently!

not even close for burgers. i read in the memphis flyer about thisburgerbeing number three what a joke. i keep hearing about what a greatburgeris at the belmont. just read the reviews on here about how great it is. dont get me wrong i like the place ok and the people working are fine it's theburgerbeing called one of the best in memphis. i went two times this month with two different people and i received a black hockey puck both times the meat was way over cooked and dry as hell. the second time i went i even ask to get another one the one i received was just plain bad.i do remember when this place had a greatburgerbut thatburgerhas packed its bags and moved down the road.i will not go back to this place for aburgerever, maybe a poor boy or a cold beer. i think who ever said this place was a third in the best of memphisburgercatagory was high.it's not even in the top ten list ofburgerplaces in memphis.if you dont believe me stop by and have a "hockey puck combo"

i give the belmont grillburger2.5 out of 5 stars. i don’t like to be critical but this was a goodburgerthat was not prepared to order and didn’t stand a chance on the soft soggy french bread it was served on. i’d love the opportunity to go back and see if maybe the chef was having an “off” day.

burgers going downhill. at one time the bestburgerin town. something has changed. they seem smaller and very dry and not juicey even when cooked medium.

belmont grill. this is probably the bestburgerin the city of memphis. i've been going to this restaurant for many years and it's still very good. while the hamburger is my favorite, the steak on the stick and the steak sandwich is good too as are the salads. if you're from out of town i'd highly recommend you put this one on your list.

bestburgerever. great neighborhood bar + everything on the menu is good. as aburgerlover, i have always maintained the belmontburgeris the best i've ever had.
